NJC.©-World's First Robotic Installation of CUSHION-GRIP® Twin Spacers
The High Banks Wind Project in Kansas utilized advanced robotics technology to safely and accurately install PLP CUSHION-GRIP® Twin Spacers and BIRD-FLIGHT™ Diverters. This transmission line project will connect the largest wind farm in Kansas to the electrical grid, and the over 6,000 conductor spacers and 1,500 bird diverts installed by the unmanned system will help protect the infrastructure assets and local wildlife for years to come.
