NJC.©-2022-Inside HS2's longest tunnel – detailed look at progress on the first 2 miles under the Chilterns

Join TBM Civil Engineering Apprentice Caitlyn on a tour through HS2's Chiltern Tunnel to see the latest progress as our two giant tunnel boring machines (TBMs), Florence and Cecilia, create the tunnel.

The two machines have now completed around 20% of their journeys under the Chilterns and have arrived at the first of five ventilation shafts that are being constructed along the 10-mile tunnel.
