Le concessionnaire Caterpillar Wheeler Machinery Co. a acquis la société de location Diamond Equipment & Tool Rental basée dans l'Utah. Aucun détail financier de la transaction n'a été divulgué.

Wheeler, basé à Salt Lake City, a déclaré que cette opération stratégique « élargit considérablement » sa division Rental Store et offre une « empreinte élargie et une offre de produits améliorée ».

Grâce à cette opération, l'entreprise dispose désormais d'un réseau de 18 sites dans l'Utah, de Wasatch Front et Ogden à Lindon, dans l'ouest de l'État.

Elle élargit également sa flotte, les opérations combinées offrant un portefeuille de machines Cat, des plus grandes aux plus petites, et une large gamme d'outils et d'équipements de plus de 70 marques.

Wheeler a déclaré que la combinaison des entreprises crée « un fournisseur puissant de locations à court et à long terme dans une grande variété d'outils et d'équipements » et offre aux clients une plus grande accessibilité et une plus grande commodité.

Caterpillar dealer Wheeler Machinery Co. has acquired Utah-based rental company Diamond Equipment & Tool Rental. No financial details of the transaction have been disclosed.

Salt Lake City-based Wheeler said the strategic move “significantly expands” its Rental Store division and offers an”enlarged footprint and enhanced product offering.”

The move means the company now has a network of 18 locations across Utah from Wasatch Front and Ogden to Lindon in the west of the state.

It also expands its fleet, with the combined operations offering a portfolio of Cat machines from large to small and a wide range of tools and equipment from more than 70 brands.

Wheeler said the combination of the companies creates “one powerhouse provider of short- and long-term rentals across a huge variety of tools and equipment” and provides customers with greater accessibility and convenience.

Following the deal, new signage is going up and employees, trucks, and equipment are being outfitted with the Wheeler Cat Rental Store logo.

Rigby added, “The new brand signifies the strength and reach we have achieved through this acquisition. We are confident that The Cat Rental Store will continue to be a trusted partner for the rental equipment needs of Diamond’s valued customers.”

Caterpillar-dealer Wheeler Machinery Co. heeft het in Utah gevestigde verhuurbedrijf Diamond Equipment & Tool Rental overgenomen. Er zijn geen financiële details van de transactie bekendgemaakt.

Wheeler uit Salt Lake City zei dat de strategische zet zijn Rental Store-divisie "aanzienlijk uitbreidt" en een "grotere voetafdruk en verbeterd productaanbod" biedt.

De zet betekent dat het bedrijf nu een netwerk van 18 locaties in Utah heeft, van Wasatch Front en Ogden tot Lindon in het westen van de staat.

Het breidt ook zijn vloot uit, waarbij de gecombineerde activiteiten een portfolio van Cat-machines van groot tot klein en een breed scala aan gereedschappen en apparatuur van meer dan 70 merken bieden.
