Sleipner Finlande et Komatsu Pologne ont conclu un accord de représentation pour des solutions de transport innovantes pour le déplacement des machines minières et de construction sur le marché polonais.

Les remorques surbaissées brevetées de la série DB et les chariots de la série E de Sleipner rendent les opérations dans les mines et les carrières nettement plus efficaces par rapport aux solutions de transfert traditionnelles, telles que la conduite sur chenilles ou l'utilisation de remorques routières traditionnelles. Le nouvel accord couvre les deux gammes de produits.

Les solutions de transport de Sleipner Finlande prolongent la durée d'utilisation opérationnelle des engins lourds d'exploitation minière et de construction et réduisent les coûts du cycle de vie des équipements de déplacement, par exemple grâce à la maintenance plus facile qu'elles permettent.

« Avec cet accord, nous voulons montrer à nos clients qu'ils peuvent compter sur nous dans tous les aspects de leurs opérations de carrière et d'exploitation minière, quelles que soient les machines qu'ils utilisent », déclare Andrzej Tokarczyk, directeur adjoint des ventes chez Komatsu Pologne.

Tokarczyk travaille pour Komatsu Pologne depuis dix-huit ans et se concentre principalement sur les grands clients et le grand secteur des machines. Komatsu Pologne détient une part de marché très importante dans la classe des 50 tonnes.

« La situation économique de l’industrie minière en Pologne est plutôt saine. La demande est actuellement en baisse d'environ 20 pour cent par rapport à il y a 2 ou 3 ans, mais nous avons quelques accords en cours pour 2024 et 2025 et nous espérons pouvoir récupérer nos revenus et nos bénéfices », estime Tokarczyk.

Les premiers chariots Sleipner E50 sont actuellement utilisés depuis l'automne dernier avec une pelle Komatsu PC490 dans la mine HOLCIM en Pologne. Les chariots Sleipner E50 ont éliminé les déplacements inutiles sur chenilles, rendu les opérations plus efficaces et réduit l'usure des trains de roulement.

« J'étais sur place fin février et les retours ont été positifs. Le client s'habitue à l'utilisation du Sleipner E50 et est entièrement satisfait de son achat », déclare Conrad Caldwell, directeur des ventes EMEA chez Sleipner Finlande.

La série Sleipner DB propose à son tour une gamme de remorques surbaissées agiles qui peuvent être utilisées même dans les conditions les plus difficiles dans les mines, les carrières et les chantiers d'excavation. La dernière édition de la série DB est la remorque tout-terrain compacte DB45, conçue pour déplacer des foreuses de surface et des bulldozers pesant jusqu'à 45 tonnes.

La remorque DB45 n'est pas reliée en permanence à l'unité de remorquage. Il est remorqué par un tombereau articulé (ADT). La remorque peut être connectée à l'ADT chaque fois que nécessaire, laissant l'ADT disponible pour des tâches normales à d'autres moments.

L'attelage et le dételage de la remorque ne prennent que quelques minutes. Le concept est unique et permet d'accéder à des endroits où de la machinerie lourde ne pouvait auparavant pas être transportée. Les tombereaux articulés sont agiles et disposent de six roues motrices, ce qui leur permet d'être utilisés même sur des terrains difficiles.

La série Sleipner DB permet un chargement et un transport rapides et sûrs, tout en offrant également une flexibilité pour la planification quotidienne de la production. Les foreuses et les bulldozers peuvent être récupérés et livrés efficacement à l'endroit exact où ils sont nécessaires.

Testés à la fois dans les climats glacials du nord et dans la chaleur extrême du sud, les produits Sleipner sont réputés pour leur fiabilité dans toutes les conditions. Leurs solutions structurelles et de composants mettent en avant une longue durée de vie, de faibles coûts de cycle de vie, une disponibilité mondiale et une maintenance facile.

« Ce qui était autrefois un processus long pour passer d'un site d'exploitation à un autre est désormais accéléré en toute sécurité. Les clients constatent une réduction significative des coûts de fonctionnement globaux de leur équipement et une diminution significative des émissions de CO₂ », explique Caldwell.

« Du point de vue du client, l'augmentation de la productivité, la réduction des coûts de maintenance du train de roulement et des délocalisations plus rapides sont les principaux avantages. L'équipement peut désormais être déplacé efficacement du fond de la fosse vers l'atelier et ensuite vers la position suivante », poursuit Caldwell.

Sleipner Finland and Komatsu Poland have entered into a representation agreement for innovative transport solutions for moving mining and construction machinery in the Polish market.

Sleipner’s patented DB Series lowbed trailers and E Series dollies make operations in mines and quarries significantly more efficient compared to traditional transfer solutions, such as driving on tracks or using traditional road trailers. The new agreement covers both product lines.

Sleipner Finland’s transport solutions extend the operational usage time of heavy mining and construction machinery and reduce the life cycle costs of moving equipment, for example thanks to the easier maintenance they enable.

“With this agreement, we want to show our customers that they can rely on us in every aspect of their quarry and mining operations, regardless of the machines they use,” says Andrzej Tokarczyk, Deputy Sales Director at Komatsu Poland.

Tokarczyk has worked for Komatsu Poland for eighteen years, and his main focus is major customers and the big machine business. Komatsu Poland has a very large market share in the 50-tonne class.

“The economic situation in the mining industry in Poland is quite healthy. Demand is currently down perhaps 20 percent compared to 2 or 3 years ago, but we have some pending deals for 2024 and 2025 and hopefully we can recover our income and profit,” Tokarczyk estimates.

The first Sleipner E50 dollies are currently being used with a Komatsu PC490 excavator at the HOLCIM mine in Poland since last autumn. The Sleipner E50 dollies has eliminated unnecessary driving on tracks, made operations more efficient and reduced wear and tear on undercarriages.

“I was on site at the end of February and the feedback was positive. The customer is getting used to using the Sleipner E50 and is all around happy with the purchase,” says Conrad Caldwell, Sales Director EMEA at Sleipner Finland.

The Sleipner DB Series in turn offers a range of agile lowbed trailers that can be used in even the most challenging conditions at mines, quarries and excavation sites. The newest edition to the DB Series is the compact DB45 offroad trailer, which has been designed for moving surface drills and bulldozers weighing up to 45 tonnes.

The DB45 trailer is not permanently connected to the towing unit. It is towed by an articulated dump truck (ADT). The trailer can be connected to the ADT whenever needed, leaving the ADT available for normal tasks at other times.

Connecting and disconnecting the trailer only takes a few minutes. The concept is unique and makes it possible to access places where heavy machinery could not previously be transported. Articulated dump trucks are agile and have six-wheel-drive, allowing them to be operated even in difficult terrain.

The Sleipner DB Series enables fast and safe loading and transporting, while also providing flexibility for daily production planning. Drills and dozers can be picked up and delivered efficiently to the exact place where they are needed.

Tested in both freezing northern climates and the extreme southern heat, Sleipner products are famous for their reliability in all conditions. Their structural and component solutions highlight a long service life, low life cycle costs, global availability and easy maintenance.

“What used to be a time-consuming process to get from one site of the operation to the other is safely sped up. Customers see a significant reduction in the overall running costs of their equipment and a significant decrease in CO₂ emissions,” Caldwell explains.

“From a customer perspective, the increase in productivity, reduction in undercarriage maintenance costs and quicker relocations are the main benefits. Equipment can now be moved efficiently from the bottom of the pit to the workshop and onwards to the next position,” Caldwell continues.

Sleipner Finland en Komatsu Polen zijn een vertegenwoordigingsovereenkomst aangegaan voor innovatieve transportoplossingen voor het verplaatsen van mijnbouw- en bouwmachines op de Poolse markt.

Sleipner’s gepatenteerde diepladers uit de DB-serie en dolly’s uit de E-serie maken werkzaamheden in mijnen en steengroeven aanzienlijk efficiënter in vergelijking met traditionele overslagoplossingen, zoals het rijden op rupsbanden of het gebruik van traditionele wegtrailers. De nieuwe overeenkomst heeft betrekking op beide productlijnen.

De transportoplossingen van Sleipner Finland verlengen de operationele gebruikstijd van zware mijnbouw- en bouwmachines en verlagen de levenscycluskosten van het verplaatsen van materieel, bijvoorbeeld dankzij het eenvoudiger onderhoud dat ze mogelijk maken.

“Met deze overeenkomst willen we onze klanten laten zien dat ze op ons kunnen vertrouwen in elk aspect van hun steengroeve- en mijnbouwactiviteiten, ongeacht de machines die ze gebruiken”, zegt Andrzej Tokarczyk, adjunct-verkoopdirecteur bij Komatsu Polen.

De eerste Sleipner E50-dollies worden momenteel sinds afgelopen herfst gebruikt met een Komatsu PC490-graafmachine in de HOLCIM-mijn in Polen. De Sleipner E50-dollies hebben onnodig rijden op rupsbanden geëlimineerd, de werkzaamheden efficiënter gemaakt en de slijtage aan de onderstellen verminderd.

“Eind februari was ik ter plaatse en de feedback was positief. De klant raakt gewend aan het gebruik van de Sleipner E50 en is helemaal blij met de aankoop”, zegt Conrad Caldwell, Sales Director EMEA bij Sleipner Finland.

De Sleipner DB-serie biedt op zijn beurt een reeks wendbare diepladers die zelfs onder de meest uitdagende omstandigheden in mijnen, steengroeven en opgravingen kunnen worden gebruikt. De Sleipner DB-serie maakt snel en veilig laden en transporteren mogelijk, terwijl het ook flexibiliteit biedt voor de dagelijkse productieplanning. Boren en bulldozers kunnen efficiënt worden opgehaald en afgeleverd op de exacte plaats waar ze nodig zijn.

Getest in zowel ijskoude noordelijke klimaten als de extreme zuidelijke hitte, staan ​​Sleipner-producten bekend om hun betrouwbaarheid onder alle omstandigheden. Hun structurele en componentoplossingen benadrukken een lange levensduur, lage levenscycluskosten, wereldwijde beschikbaarheid en eenvoudig onderhoud.
