La première balance de manutention 880 EQ a été livrée il y a 16 ans. Depuis lors, cette machine impressionnante a attiré beaucoup d'attention dans différents pays en raison de ses performances et de sa polyvalence. Aujourd'hui, le modèle à succès est retiré de la gamme de produits SENNEBOGEN et est remplacé par son digne successeur, le 885 G, doté de la dernière génération de technologie.

SENNEBOGEN a livré le premier 880 EQ en Turquie en 2007 via son partenaire commercial Forsen Machinery Services & Trading Inc. Le dernier du genre trouvera également son lieu de travail au port d'Iskenderun. À l'avenir, la machine sera utilisée pour la manutention portuaire par l'un des clients les plus importants et les plus anciens de Turquie, DILER Holding, qui utilise les manutentionnaires Balance depuis de nombreuses années. Les modèles EQ populaires ont déjà été utilisés pendant jusqu'à 50 000 heures de fonctionnement. Outre la Turquie, l'un des marchés les plus importants pour les engins de manutention Balance, de nombreuses unités ont été livrées au Canada, aux États-Unis, en Inde, en Finlande, en Australie et aux Émirats arabes unis.

«Avec le 880 EQ, nous nous sommes ouverts à des marchés et à des applications complètement nouveaux et avons rendu de nombreux clients très satisfaits», déclare notre partenaire Erich Sennebogen. Tout récemment, une nouvelle 880 EQ est entrée en service chez l'une des principales entreprises mondiales de recyclage de métaux, EMR à Rotterdam. Ici aussi, ils s'appuient depuis de nombreuses années sur le concept de manutention éprouvé Balance. Le responsable du site, Edwin van der Heiden, confirme : « Avec les pelles de manutention Balance, nous chargeons et déchargeons principalement des navires avec un tirant d'eau plus important, ce qui n'a pas bien fonctionné avec d'autres machines dans le passé. »

La pelle de manutention Balance 880 EQ a été l'une des premières machines construites dans cette gamme de taille. Le concept spécial Balance a permis d'atteindre des portées jusqu'à 35 m qui n'étaient pas possibles auparavant, ce qui a permis le développement de nombreuses nouvelles applications. « Pour nous, le 880 EQ a été et reste une étape technologique qui a considérablement changé l'ensemble du secteur de la manutention », explique Erich Sennebogen. Conçu pour un fonctionnement continu et optimisé pour l'efficacité énergétique et les performances, le concept de pelle de manutention Balance a été développé dans le but de placer la machine dans une position équilibrée avec l'équipement en position médiane. "La question des économies de carburant en particulier est un argument décisif pour les équilibreurs. Certains clients ont réalisé des économies de carburant d'environ la moitié par rapport aux machines précédentes."

"La 880 EQ n'était pas seulement très populaire auprès de nos clients. De telles commandes de machines ont également toujours été bien accueillies à l'usine. Pour nous, la 880 EQ nécessitait peu d'assistance et il n'y a jamais eu de problèmes sérieux", explique Ali Gülyaz, ingénieur de conception chez grosses machines.

Le nouveau SENNEBOGEN 885 G, présenté pour la première fois au salon Bauma en octobre 2022, est le successeur du 880 EQ éprouvé et complète ainsi la gamme de manutentionnaires portuaires. Equipée du système de récupération d'énergie Green Hybrid, cette machine fonctionne de manière particulièrement efficace et économique et permet de réaliser des économies de carburant tout aussi importantes. Avec une portée allant jusqu'à 38 m, les opérations de manutention portuaire particulièrement difficiles peuvent être réalisées sans effort.

The first 880 EQ balance material handler was delivered 16 years ago. Since then, the impressive machine has attracted a great deal of attention in various countries due to its performance and versatility. Now the successful model is being retired from the SENNEBOGEN product portfolio and is being replaced by its worthy successor, the 885 G, with the latest generation of technology.

SENNEBOGEN delivered the first 880 EQ to Turkey in 2007 via its sales partner Forsen Machinery Services & Trading Inc. The last of its kind will also find its workplace at the port of Iskenderun. In future, the machine will be used for port handling by one of the largest and longest-standing customers in Turkey, DILER Holding, which has been using Balance material handlers for many years. The popular EQ models have already been in use for up to 50,000 operating hours. In addition to Turkey, one of the most important markets for Balance material handlers, many units have been delivered to Canada, the USA, India, Finland, Australia and the United Arab Emirates.

"With the 880 EQ, we have opened up completely new markets and applications for ourselves and made many customers very happy," says partner Erich Sennebogen. Just recently, a new 880 EQ went into operation at one of the world's leading metal recycling companies, EMR in Rotterdam. Here, too, they have been relying on the proven Balance material handling concept for many years. Site manager Edwin van der Heiden confirms: "With the Balance material handlers, we mainly load and unload ships with larger draughts, which has not worked well with other machines in the past."

The Balance 880 EQ material handler was one of the first machines to be built in this size range. The special Balance concept achieved ranges of up to 35 m that were previously not possible, enabling many new applications to be developed. "For us, the 880 EQ was and is a technological milestone that has significantly changed the entire material handling industry," explains Erich Sennebogen. Designed for continuous operation and optimized for energy efficiency and performance, the Balance material handler concept was developed with the aim of placing the machine in a balanced position with the equipment in the middle position. "The issue of fuel savings in particular is a decisive argument for balancers. Some customers have achieved fuel savings of around half compared to previous machines."

"The 880 EQ was not only very popular with our customers. Such machine orders have also always been welcomed at the factory. For us, the 880 EQ required little support and there were never any serious problems," says Ali Gülyaz, design engineer for large machines.

The new SENNEBOGEN 885 G, which was presented for the first time at bauma in October 2022, is the successor to the proven 880 EQ and thus complements the port material handler portfolio. Equipped with the Green Hybrid energy recovery system, this machine works particularly efficiently and economically and achieves equally high fuel savings. With a reach of up to 38 m, particularly challenging port handling operations can be completed effortlessly.

De eerste 880 EQ balance overslagmachine werd 16 jaar geleden geleverd. Sindsdien heeft de indrukwekkende machine in verschillende landen veel aandacht getrokken vanwege zijn prestaties en veelzijdigheid. Nu wordt het succesvolle model uit het SENNEBOGEN-productportfolio verwijderd en vervangen door zijn waardige opvolger, de 885 G, met de nieuwste generatie technologie.

SENNEBOGEN leverde de eerste 880 EQ in 2007 aan Turkije via haar verkooppartner Forsen Machinery Services & Trading Inc. De laatste in zijn soort zal ook zijn werkplek vinden in de haven van Iskenderun. In de toekomst zal de machine worden gebruikt voor havenafhandeling door een van de grootste en oudste klanten in Turkije, DILER Holding, die al jaren gebruik maakt van Balance-materiaalbehandelaars. De populaire EQ-modellen zijn al tot 50.000 bedrijfsuren in gebruik. Naast Turkije, een van de belangrijkste markten voor Balance overslagmachines, zijn er veel units geleverd aan Canada, de VS, India, Finland, Australië en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten.

“Met de 880 EQ hebben we compleet nieuwe markten en toepassingen voor onszelf geopend en veel klanten erg blij gemaakt”, zegt partner Erich Sennebogen. Onlangs is een nieuwe 880 EQ in gebruik genomen bij een van 's werelds toonaangevende metaalrecyclingbedrijven, EMR in Rotterdam. Ook hier vertrouwen ze al jaren op het beproefde Balance-transportconcept. Locatiemanager Edwin van der Heiden bevestigt: "Met de overslagmachines van Balance laden en lossen we vooral schepen met een grotere diepgang, wat in het verleden met andere machines niet goed lukte."

De overslagmachine Balance 880 EQ was een van de eerste machines die in dit formaat werd gebouwd. Het speciale Balance-concept realiseerde een bereik tot 35 meter dat voorheen niet mogelijk was, waardoor veel nieuwe toepassingen konden worden ontwikkeld. “Voor ons was en is de 880 EQ een technologische mijlpaal die de hele material handling-industrie aanzienlijk heeft veranderd”, legt Erich Sennebogen uit. Ontworpen voor continu gebruik en geoptimaliseerd voor energie-efficiëntie en prestaties, werd het Balance overslagconcept ontwikkeld met als doel de machine in een gebalanceerde positie te plaatsen met de apparatuur in de middenpositie. "Vooral de kwestie van de brandstofbesparing is een doorslaggevend argument voor balancers. Sommige klanten hebben een brandstofbesparing van ongeveer de helft gerealiseerd in vergelijking met eerdere machines."

"De 880 EQ was niet alleen erg populair bij onze klanten. Dergelijke machinebestellingen werden in de fabriek ook altijd verwelkomd. Voor ons had de 880 EQ weinig ondersteuning nodig en er waren nooit ernstige problemen", zegt Ali Gülyaz, ontwerpingenieur voor grote machines.

De nieuwe SENNEBOGEN 885 G, die in oktober 2022 voor het eerst werd gepresenteerd op de Bauma, is de opvolger van de beproefde 880 EQ en vormt daarmee een aanvulling op het portfolio van havenmateriaalbehandelingsbedrijven. Uitgerust met het Green Hybrid energieterugwinningssysteem werkt deze machine bijzonder efficiënt en zuinig en realiseert een even hoge brandstofbesparing. Met een bereik tot 38 meter kunnen bijzonder uitdagende havenafhandelingswerkzaamheden moeiteloos worden uitgevoerd.
