La société chinoise XCMG a annoncé ses résultats financiers pour 2023, l'équipementier affirmant que le revenu commercial de l'entreprise a atteint 92,848 milliards CNY (12,83 milliards de dollars américains).

Ce chiffre représente une légère baisse par rapport à l'année dernière, lorsque l'entreprise avait déclaré un chiffre d'affaires de 13,4 milliards de dollars pour 2022, mais le marché chinois de la construction a connu une année 2023 très difficile.

L'équipementier a également révélé que ses revenus internationaux ont augmenté de 33 % en 2023 par rapport à 2022 pour atteindre 37,220 milliards de yuans CNY (5,14 milliards de dollars). XCMG a ajouté que les revenus provenant des nouveaux équipements et activités liés à l'énergie (tels que les équipements électriques) et aux activités ont doublé pendant deux années consécutives et représentent désormais près de 10 % du chiffre d'affaires total de l'entreprise.

L'équipementier chinois a ajouté qu'en 2023, son initiative de chaîne d'approvisionnement numérique a été reconnue comme un projet Internet industriel clé dans la province du Jiangsu, en Chine, ajoutant cinq usines provinciales de référence en matière d'Internet industriel.

L'entreprise a atteint le niveau de maturité trois en matière de capacités de fabrication intelligente avec trois entreprises, et l'unité commerciale XCMG Hoisting et XCMG Transmission ont été nouvellement incluses dans le « Répertoire des usines 5G » du ministère de l'Industrie et des Technologies de l'information.

China-based XCMG has announced its financial results for 2023, with the OEM saying that the company’s business income reached CNY92.848 billion (US$12.83 billion).

This figure is a slight decline from last year when the company reported revenues for 2022 of US$13.4 billion, but the Chinese construction market has suffered a very difficult 2023.

The OEM also revealed that its international revenue increased 33% in 2023 compared to 2022 to reach CNY37.220 billion yuan (US$5.14 billion). This accounts for approximately 40% of the company’s total income, the highest this percentage has ever been. XCMG said that it has, “unwavering commitment to its internationalization strategy.”

In a press release the company said that “Despite facing profound changes in both domestic and international competence environments throughout the year” it had achieved double-digit net profit growth while enhancing gross margin and sales net profit margin.

XCMG added that revenues from new energy-related equipment (such as electric-powered equipment) and businesses have doubled for two consecutive years, and now accounts for almost 10% of the company’s total revenue.

The Chinese OEM added that in 2023 its digital supply chain initiative was recognised as a key industrial internet project in Jiangsu Province, China, adding five provincial industrial internet benchmark factories.

The company achieved level three maturity in intelligent manufacturing capabilities with three enterprises, and both the XCMG Hoisting business unit and XCMG Transmission were newly included in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology’s ‘5G Factory Directory’.

Het in China gevestigde XCMG heeft zijn financiële resultaten voor 2023 bekendgemaakt, waarbij de OEM zegt dat de bedrijfsinkomsten van het bedrijf CNY92,848 miljard (US$12,83 miljard) bereikten.

Dit cijfer is een lichte daling ten opzichte van vorig jaar, toen het bedrijf voor 2022 een omzet van 13,4 miljard dollar rapporteerde, maar de Chinese bouwmarkt heeft een zeer moeilijk 2023 achter de rug.
