Wolffkran met fin à sa coentreprise en Norvège

Le fabricant de grues à tour Wolffkran a mis fin à sa coentreprise en Norvège avec Mikkelsen AS.

La société a déclaré que malgré une phase initiale réussie depuis son lancement en 2021, les défis liés aux conditions actuelles du marché avaient conduit à un accord avec Mikkelsen pour mettre fin au partenariat à partir de juin 2024.

En conséquence, Wolffkran détiendra désormais 100 % de Wolffkran Norge AS, qui a été créée dans le cadre de la coentreprise visant à assurer la location et la vente de grues à tour Wolffkran dans le pays.

Basée à Drammen, juste à l'extérieur d'Oslo, Wolffkran Norge AS fonctionnera désormais comme une filiale en propriété exclusive de Wolffkran, Frank Kvam conservant son rôle de CTO, directeur des opérations et directeur général.

Le PDG de Wolffkran Holding, Duncan Salt, le président Sven Jung et le directeur général Andreas Kahl siégeront tous au conseil d'administration de l'entreprise.

Selon un article sur LinkedIn, Wolffkran a également l'intention de développer l'entreprise en embauchant des représentants commerciaux supplémentaires et en augmentant sa flotte de 17 grues de location dans le pays.

Il a déclaré qu'en tant que filiale, l'entreprise serait en mesure de « répondre de manière plus flexible et plus efficace aux exigences du secteur norvégien de la construction ».

Duncan Salt, PDG de Wolffkran Holding AG, a déclaré : « Créer une entreprise à partir de zéro sur un nouveau marché est toujours un défi, et sans le soutien du groupe Mikkelsen, ces premières étapes n'auraient pas été possibles.

Wolffkran ends joint venture in Norway

Tower crane manufacturer Wolffkran has ended its joint venture in Norway with Mikkelsen AS.

The company said that despite a successful initial phase since it commenced in 2021, challenges arising from current market conditions had led to an agreement with Mikkelsen to end the partnership from June 2024.

As a result Wolffkran will now hold 100% ownership of Wolffkran Norge AS, which was created as part of the joint venture to provide rental and sales of Wolffkran tower cranes in the country.

Headquartered in Drammen, just outside Oslo, Wolffkran Norge AS will now operate as a wholly-owned subsidiary of Wolffkran, with Frank Kvam continuing in his role as CTO, operations manager and managing director.

Wolffkran Holding CEO Duncan Salt, chairman Sven Jung and managing director Andreas Kahl will all sit on the board of the company.

According to a post on LinkedIn, Wolffkran also intends to expand the company by hiring additional sales representatives and growing its fleet of 17 rental cranes in the country.

It said that as a subsidiary, the company would be able to “more flexibly and efficiently meet the requirements of the Norwegian construction sector.”

Duncan Salt, CEO of Wolffkran Holding AG, said, “Establishing a company from scratch in a new market is always a challenge, and without the support of the Mikkelsen Group, these initial steps would not have been possible.

Wolffkran beëindigt joint venture in Noorwegen

Torenkraanfabrikant Wolffkran heeft de joint venture in Noorwegen met Mikkelsen AS beëindigd.

Het bedrijf zei dat ondanks een succesvolle beginfase sinds de start in 2021, uitdagingen als gevolg van de huidige marktomstandigheden hebben geleid tot een overeenkomst met Mikkelsen om de samenwerking vanaf juni 2024 te beëindigen.

Als gevolg hiervan zal Wolffkran nu 100% eigenaar zijn van Wolffkran Norge AS, dat is opgericht als onderdeel van de joint venture voor de verhuur en verkoop van Wolffkran-torenkranen in het land.

Wolffkran Norge AS, met het hoofdkantoor in Drammen, net buiten Oslo, zal nu opereren als een volledige dochteronderneming van Wolffkran, waarbij Frank Kvam zijn rol als CTO, operations manager en managing director zal voortzetten.

Wolffkran Holding CEO Duncan Salt, voorzitter Sven Jung en algemeen directeur Andreas Kahl zullen allemaal in de raad van bestuur van het bedrijf zitten.

Volgens een bericht op LinkedIn is Wolffkran ook van plan het bedrijf uit te breiden door extra verkoopvertegenwoordigers aan te nemen en de vloot van 17 huurkranen in het land uit te breiden.

Er stond dat het bedrijf als dochteronderneming “flexibeler en efficiënter zou kunnen voldoen aan de eisen van de Noorse bouwsector.”
