Terminales Marítimas de Vigo (Termavi) a commandé deux grues portiques hybrides Konecranes Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) pour améliorer sa productivité éco-efficace.

Les grues sont équipées de fonctions intelligentes Konecranes telles que la direction automatique, le guidage automatique des camions, l'optimisation automatique des trajectoires et le positionnement automatique.

Terminales Marítimas de Vigo, S.L.U. (Termavi), un nouveau client de Konecranes, a commandé deux portiques hybrides à pneus Konecranes (RTG) équipés de la gamme complète de Konecranes Smart Features. La commande a été enregistrée au quatrième trimestre 2024 et la livraison est prévue pour le quatrième trimestre 2025.

Termavi exploite le principal terminal à conteneurs du port espagnol de Vigo, sur la côte atlantique du pays, et a mis en œuvre un certain nombre d'initiatives pour accroître l'efficacité énergétique, réduire son empreinte carbone et protéger la biodiversité. Cet investissement s'inscrit dans cette démarche parallèlement à la stratégie plus large de Termavi visant à améliorer l'efficacité opérationnelle.

« Notre investissement dans les portiques hybrides à pneus Konecranes s'inscrit dans notre volonté de manutention de conteneurs plus efficace et plus durable. Ces grues réduisent les émissions et la consommation de carburant, et leurs fonctions avancées de sécurité et d'automatisation améliorent notre productivité. Nous laissons également la porte ouverte à une éventuelle modernisation pour l'énergie à l'hydrogène », déclare Román Davila González, directeur associé de Termavi, Grupo Davila.

Les grues sont équipées de la gamme complète de fonctions intelligentes de Konecranes, notamment la direction automatique, le guidage automatique des camions, l'optimisation automatique des trajectoires et le positionnement automatique, qui permettent de maintenir les RTG sur la bonne voie et d'assurer une manutention précise des conteneurs. La fonction Auto-TOS Reporting s'intègre parfaitement aux systèmes des terminaux. Parmi les autres améliorations, citons les caméras de voies pour chariots et camions, la surveillance de la pression des pneus, les systèmes d'extinction d'incendie et les systèmes de graissage automatique.

The cranes are equipped with Konecranes Smart Features such as Auto-Steering, Auto-Truck Guiding, Auto-Path Optimization, and Auto-Positioning.

Termavi's investment aligns with its strategy to increase energy efficiency, reduce carbon footprint, and improve operational efficiency at the Port of Vigo.

The hybrid RTGs offer advanced safety and automation features, with potential for future retrofitting for hydrogen power.

This contract supports Konecranes' Ecolifting vision, aiming to increase environmental benefits while reducing carbon footprints through advanced material handling solutions.

Terminales Marítimas de Vigo, S.L.U. (Termavi), a new Konecranes customer, has ordered two hybrid Konecranes Rubber-Tired Gantry (RTG) cranes equipped with the complete range of Konecranes Smart Features. The order was booked in Q4 2024 and delivery is scheduled for Q4 2025.

Termavi operates the main container terminal at Spain’s Port of Vigo on the country’s Atlantic coast, and has implemented a number of initiatives to increase energy efficiency, reduce its carbon footprint and protect biodiversity. This investment continues that approach alongside Termavi’s broader strategy to improve operational efficiency.

These cranes cut emissions and reduce fuel consumption, and their advanced safety and automation features improve our productivity. The cranes are equipped with the complete range of Konecranes Smart Features including Auto-Steering, Auto-Truck Guiding, Auto-Path Optimization and Auto-Positioning, keeping the RTGs on course and ensuring precise container handling. Auto-TOS Reporting integrates seamlessly with terminal systems. Additional enhancements include trolley and truck lane cameras, tire pressure monitoring, fire suppression systems and automatic greasing systems.

De investering van Termavi is in lijn met de strategie om de energie-efficiëntie te verhogen, de CO2-voetafdruk te verkleinen en de operationele efficiëntie in de haven van Vigo te verbeteren.

De hybride RTG's bieden geavanceerde veiligheids- en automatiseringsfuncties, met potentieel voor toekomstige aanpassingen voor waterstofenergie.
