Les géants de la construction s'unissent pour le plus grand concours de startups

Le Construction Startup Competition 2024, le plus grand concours, réseau et plateforme pour les startups des secteurs de la construction et des technologies propres, est désormais opérationnel.

Les géants de l'industrie et les sociétés de capital-risque Cemex Ventures, Dysruptek de Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, Leonard du groupe VINCI, NOVA de Saint-Gobain, Trimble et Zacua Ventures ont lancé l'appel ouvert aux startups innovantes du monde entier en tant qu'hôtes de la 8e édition de Construction Concours de startups.

Le concours Construction Startup Competition promeut l'innovation, la collaboration et l'adoption de technologies entre les entreprises et les startups avec des solutions qui relèvent des 4 domaines d'intervention du concours : construction verte (durabilité), productivité améliorée (efficacité), chaîne d'approvisionnement de la construction (à temps), avenir de la construction ( perturbateur). Il s'agit également d'un outil précieux permettant aux startups de réseauter avec des partenaires potentiels, de gagner du capital, de piloter sur les marchés mondiaux et de présenter leur projet aux investisseurs actifs du secteur et aux clients potentiels. Cette année, 3 gagnants recevront des prix en espèces lors du Pitch Day, l'étape finale du concours, qui s'est tenue lors de la conférence des utilisateurs Dimensions de Trimble du 11 au 13 novembre 2024.

Depuis 7 ans, Construction Startup Competition a été une rampe de lancement pour près de 3 000 startups pour faciliter les levées de fonds et gagner en notoriété. Le concours a nommé 36 gagnants, qui ont collectivement collecté plus de 396 millions de dollars américains de financement. Plus d'un tiers des gagnants ont reçu un investissement et/ou travaillent avec un ou plusieurs des organisateurs du concours, et 3 programmes d'accélération de Contech utilisent le concours comme pipeline qualifié pour constituer leurs cohortes.

« Chaque année, nous recevons des centaines de candidatures de startups Contech et Cleantech, dont certaines sont devenues de grands noms de l'industrie, reçoivent des centaines de millions de dollars d'investissement, commercialisent et développent leurs entreprises », a déclaré Gonzalo Galindo, responsable de Cemex Entreprises.

Concours de startups de la construction

Depuis sa première édition en 2017, des startups de plus de 80 pays ont participé au plus grand défi destiné aux startups du secteur de la construction, le Construction Startup Competition. De nombreux entrepreneurs ont collaboré avec les entreprises participantes après avoir postulé au concours. Compte tenu de la portée mondiale de ses partenaires, l'édition 2024 s'attend à voir une augmentation du nombre de candidatures, à identifier les solutions les plus innovantes à travers le monde, à continuer de développer l'écosystème Contech et à commencer l'adoption agile des technologies et des modèles commerciaux innovants des candidats.

Construction giants band together for biggest Startup Competition

The Construction Startup Competition 2024, the biggest competition, network, and platform for startups in the construction and cleantech industries is now up and running.

Prominent industry giants and venture capital firms Cemex Ventures, Dysruptek by Haskell, Ferrovial, Hilti, VINCI Group’s Leonard, NOVA by Saint-Gobain, Trimble, and Zacua Ventures have launched the open call for innovative startups worldwide as hosts of the 8th edition of Construction Startup Competition.

Construction Startup Competition promotes innovation, collaboration, and technology adoption between corporates and startups with solutions that fall under the competition’s 4 focus areas: Green Construction (sustainability), Enhanced Productivity (efficiency), Construction Supply Chain (on time), Future of Construction (disruptive). It is also an invaluable tool for startups to network with potential partners, earn capital, pilot in global markets, and pitch to active industry investors and potential clients. This year, 3 winners will receive cash prizes at Pitch Day, the final competition milestone, held at Trimble’s Dimensions User conference on November 11-13, 2024.

Over the last 7 years, Construction Startup Competition has been a launching pad for almost 3,000 startups to facilitate fundraising and gain notoriety. The competition has named 36 winners, which have collectively raised more than US$396M in financing. More than one third of winners have received investment from and/or are working with one or more of the competition hosts, and 3 Contech acceleration programs use the competition as a qualified pipeline to build their cohorts.
