DEUTZ présentera un écosystème de produits complet au Bauma 2025, comprenant des moteurs diesel, hydrogène, biocarburants, hybrides et 100 % électriques.

Markus Villinger a été nommé responsable du segment DEUTZ Classic, axé sur les moteurs diesel traditionnels.

Le moteur à combustion interne DEUTZ TCD 3.9/4.0, reconnu pour son rendement élevé et sa puissance, sera mis en avant lors de l'événement.

Du 7 au 13 avril 2025, les visiteurs du salon des machines de construction Bauma à Munich pourront découvrir la vaste gamme de produits DEUTZ. Après six ans d'absence, dont une interruption liée à la pandémie, le fabricant de moteurs revient sur le salon leader des machines de construction avec son propre stand, soulignant ainsi l'importance du secteur de la construction pour l'entreprise.

Ce moteur polyvalent se distingue par son rendement élevé et sa plage de puissance de 75 à 129,4 kW. Ses nombreuses options le rendent modulaire et adapté à un large éventail d'applications. La production en série du moteur est entrée la semaine dernière sur le site DEUTZ de Cologne-Porz, l'une des plus grandes usines de moteurs au monde.

Ce moteur à hydrogène de série, issu du segment Nouvelles Technologies DEUTZ, sera présenté en modèle réduit et, à titre d'exemple pratique, installé sur une puissante excavatrice. Le DEUTZ TCG 7.8 H2 est le premier moteur à combustion à hydrogène certifié Stage V de l'UE.

Visitors to the bauma construction machinery trade fair in Munich are able to experience DEUTZ’s extensive product portfolio for themselves from April 7 to 13, 2025. After six years, including a pandemic-related break, the engine manufacturer is returning to the leading construction machinery trade fair with its own stand, thus underlining the importance of the construction sector to the company.

DEUTZ will be presenting its versatile product portfolio, which features innovative solutions and is optimally tailored to customer requirements, at bauma 2025.

Under the banner ‘We ensure the world keeps moving’, DEUTZ is showcasing innovative developments and offering comprehensive, system solutions that meet its customers’ requirements, from engines powered by diesel, hydrogen, and biofuels such as HVO (hydrotreated vegetable oil) to hybrids and fully electric drives, battery components and gensets, and digital innovations in the service business.

Dr. Sebastian C. Schulte, CEO of DEUTZ AG, explains: “The construction sector is undergoing a shift toward greater climate neutrality. We want to play our part in this huge task by offering theoptimum solutions for the specific requirements of our customers. In this context, it’s all about achieving the right mix. Electric drives offer users in the construction sector an efficient and eco-friendly solution. With the acquisition of UMS Holding B.V, we can significantly accelerate development in this area. We also firmly believe that the internal combustion engine is here to stay for some years yet, most notably in heavy-duty applications. When run on hydrogen, modern biofuels, or in hybrid systems, where DEUTZ combustion engines serve as range extenders for battery-electric drives, combustion technology is already able to contribute to decarbonization.” All DEUTZ engines are approved to run on HVO.

Markus Villinger, a qualified engineer, was recently appointed to head up the business with traditional diesel engines (DEUTZ Classic). He has been responsible for product development, the technical customer interface, product management, and sales in this segment since April 1, 2025. Most recently, he was Executive Director Sales & Aftersales, Product Planning & Strategy Powertrain at Daimler Truck, and has more than 30 years’ experience in the automotive and engine sectors. Of his new role, Villinger said: “DEUTZ has an impressive history and a global brand, and its Dual+ strategy has set the company on the right path. The internal combustion engine will be with us for a long time to come, and I look forward to working with my team to keep the world moving with DEUTZ engines.”

Appropriately, one of the highlights put on show by the Cologne-based drive specialist is an efficient internal combustion engine, the DEUTZ TCD 3.9/4.0. It was specifically developed to offer customers in the off-highway segment a powerful and reliable solution that can cope with the most challenging conditions. Distinctive features of the all-rounder are its high efficiency and power output range of 75 to 129.4 kW. Numerous options make it modular and suitable for a wide range of applications. The engine entered full production last week at the DEUTZ site in Cologne-Porz, one of the world’s largest engine factories.

The hydrogen-powered series production engine, part of the DEUTZ New Technology segment, will be on show as a display model and, by way of practical example, installed in a powerful excavator. The DEUTZ TCG 7.8 H2 is the first hydrogen combustion engine to be EU Stage V certified.

DEUTZ is also showcasing its wide range of services and extensive network of more than 1,000 service partners around the world. A focus here is on the well-established Xchange program featuring professionally reconditioned components and engines. By using an engine that has been given a second life, DEUTZ customers have an affordable way to use their equipment for longer while permanently reducing their costs. The innovative telemetry platform Fusion Hub from DEUTZ is a powerful, manufacturer-neutral solution for monitoring and optimizing equipment fleets in real time, irrespective of the individual asset’s location. The online tool provides configurable dashboards and versatile functions for analyzing networked machines and for predictive maintenance. This allows operators to increase the productivity of their equipment and reduce their operating costs at the same time.

Een van de hoogtepunten die de in Keulen gevestigde aandrijfspecialist presenteert, is dan ook een efficiënte verbrandingsmotor, de DEUTZ TCD 3.9/4.0. Deze is speciaal ontwikkeld om klanten in het off-roadsegment een krachtige en betrouwbare oplossing te bieden die de meest uitdagende omstandigheden aankan. Kenmerkend voor deze allrounder zijn het hoge rendement en het vermogensbereik van 75 tot 129,4 kW. Dankzij de talrijke opties is hij modulair en geschikt voor een breed scala aan toepassingen. De motor is vorige week in volle productie genomen in de DEUTZ-vestiging in Keulen-Porz, een van 's werelds grootste motorenfabrieken.

De waterstofaangedreven seriemotor, onderdeel van het DEUTZ New Technology-segment, wordt tentoongesteld als showmodel en, als praktijkvoorbeeld, ingebouwd in een krachtige graafmachine. De DEUTZ TCG 7.8 H2 is de eerste waterstofverbrandingsmotor met EU Stage V-certificering.
