eTruckathon : le MAN eTGX met l'accent sur l'aptitude à la pratique

Le nouveau camion électrique de MAN a participé au premier convoi de camions électriques eTruckathon d'E.ON Drive
Un trajet de 300 km d'Essen à Hanovre

Douze camions électriques, douze équipes, environ 300 kilomètres sous tension : c'est l'eTruckathon d'E.ON Drive. MAN Truck & Bus y a participé avec son MAN eTGX, faisant ainsi une nouvelle déclaration en faveur de la mobilité électrique pour les véhicules utilitaires. L'eTruckathon a démontré l'utilité des camions électriques et de l'infrastructure de recharge associée. Marc Spieker, directeur opérationnel d'E.ON, a expliqué : « Avec l'eTruckathon, nous réunissons les principaux acteurs du secteur et offrons un aperçu pratique des possibilités actuelles du transport de marchandises lourdes respectueux de l'environnement. »

Outre certains constructeurs automobiles, comme MAN, des entreprises de logistique ont également participé à la démonstration de conduite. Les entreprises de logistique DB Schenker, DHL, Elflein Transport & Logistik, Fiege et Gruber Logistics ont pris la piste avec leurs propres camions électriques. Cela montre que les clients de MAN Truck & Bus se concentrent également sur la transformation. Le point de départ était le E.ON Drive TestingLab à Essen. Le parcours d'environ 300 kilomètres couvrait des autoroutes et des routes de campagne. La destination était le parc des expositions de Hanovre. Les expériences et les conclusions du premier eTruckathon seront présentées à l'IAA TRANSPORTATION.

E.ON et MAN Truck & Bus travaillent également ensemble à l'extension de l'infrastructure de recharge pour les véhicules utilitaires. Dans le cadre de leur coopération, l'entreprise énergétique et le constructeur de véhicules utilitaires installeront environ 170 sites avec environ 400 points de recharge publics dans les stations-service MAN à travers l'Europe. Les trois premiers sites seront mis en service cette année. D'ici fin 2025, il y aura 80 points de recharge.

MAN's new eTruck was part of E.ON Drive's first electric truck convoy eTruckathon
300 km long journey from Essen to Hanover

Twelve electric trucks, twelve teams, around 300 kilometres under power: that's the E.ON Drive eTruckathon. MAN Truck & Bus took part with its MAN eTGX, making a further statement in favour of electric mobility for commercial vehicles. The eTruckathon demonstrated the practicality of electric trucks and the associated charging infrastructure. Marc Spieker, Chief Operating Officer at E.ON, explained: ‘With the eTruckathon, we are bringing together the leading players in the industry and providing a practical insight into the current possibilities of environmentally friendly heavy goods transport.’

In addition to some vehicle manufacturers, such as MAN, logistics companies also took part in the driving demonstration. Logistics companies DB Schenker, DHL, Elflein Transport & Logistik, Fiege and Gruber Logistics took to the track with their own electric trucks. This shows that MAN Truck & Bus customers are also focussing on the transformation. The starting point was the E.ON Drive TestingLab in Essen. The approximately 300-kilometre route covered motorways and country roads. The destination was the exhibition centre in Hanover. The experiences and findings from the first eTruckathon will be presented at the IAA TRANSPORTATION.

E.ON and MAN Truck & Bus are also working together to expand the charging infrastructure for commercial vehicles. As part of their co-operation, the energy company and the commercial vehicle manufacturer will be setting up around 170 locations with around 400 public charging points at MAN service stations across Europe. The first three locations will be put into operation this year. By the end of 2025, there will be 80 charging locations.

De nieuwe eTruck van MAN maakte deel uit van het eerste elektrische vrachtwagenkonvooi van E.ON Drive eTruckathon
300 km lange reis van Essen naar Hannover

Twaalf elektrische vrachtwagens, twaalf teams, ongeveer 300 kilometer onder stroom: dat is de E.ON Drive eTruckathon. MAN Truck & Bus nam deel met zijn MAN eTGX en maakte daarmee opnieuw een statement ten gunste van elektrische mobiliteit voor bedrijfsvoertuigen. De eTruckathon demonstreerde de praktische toepasbaarheid van elektrische vrachtwagens en de bijbehorende laadinfrastructuur. Marc Spieker, Chief Operating Officer bij E.ON, legt uit: ‘Met de eTruckathon brengen we de leidende spelers in de branche samen en geven we een praktisch inzicht in de huidige mogelijkheden van milieuvriendelijk zwaar goederenvervoer.’

Naast enkele voertuigfabrikanten, zoals MAN, namen ook logistieke bedrijven deel aan de rijdemonstratie. De logistieke bedrijven DB Schenker, DHL, Elflein Transport & Logistik, Fiege en Gruber Logistics gingen met hun eigen elektrische trucks de baan op. Dat laat zien dat ook de klanten van MAN Truck & Bus zich richten op de transformatie. Het startpunt was het E.ON Drive TestingLab in Essen. De circa 300 kilometer lange route ging over snelwegen en provinciale wegen. De bestemming was het beursterrein in Hannover. De ervaringen en bevindingen van de eerste eTruckathon worden gepresenteerd op de IAA TRANSPORTATION.

E.ON en MAN Truck & Bus werken ook samen aan de uitbreiding van de laadinfrastructuur voor bedrijfsvoertuigen. In het kader van hun samenwerking richten het energiebedrijf en de fabrikant van bedrijfsvoertuigen ongeveer 170 locaties in met ongeveer 400 openbare laadpunten bij MAN-servicestations in heel Europa. De eerste drie locaties worden dit jaar in gebruik genomen. Eind 2025 zullen er 80 laadlocaties zijn.
