Spedition Trettin is a German family-run company, now in its fifth generation, that deals with the handling of municipal waste and the treatment of mineral waste. Three Liebherr earthmoving machines are used at the Gelsenkirchen site for material handling and loading and unloading activities. The fuel efficiency of the XPower wheel loader generation is due to the power-split XPower travel drive. At low speeds and for short loading manoeuvres, the hydrostatic drive takes charge, whereas at higher speeds and on uphill stretches, the mechanical drive is active. Together, the two drives always transmit 100 percent of the diesel engine power; only the ratio of the two drives changes. This means that the wheel loader always operates at maximum performance and with optimal efficiency, regardless of the application. The result is fuel savings of up to 30 percent compared to conventionally driven wheel loaders.
"We have decided on Liebherr products obviously because of their quality," says Lukas Trettin, Managing Director of Spedition Trettin. Samen brengen de twee aandrijvingen altijd 100 procent van het dieselmotorvermogen over; alleen de verhouding van de twee aandrijvingen verandert. Dit betekent dat de wiellader altijd op maximale prestaties en met optimale efficiëntie werkt, ongeacht de toepassing. Het resultaat is een brandstofbesparing van maximaal 30 procent ten opzichte van conventioneel aangedreven wielladers.
"We hebben gekozen voor Liebherr-producten, uiteraard vanwege hun kwaliteit", zegt Lukas Trettin, Managing Director van Spedition Trettin. Door het gebruik van eigen, perfect op elkaar afgestemde componenten voldoen de Liebherr-wielladers aan hoge kwaliteitsnormen, zelfs onder de zwaarste bedrijfsomstandigheden. Dit maakt een betrouwbaar gebruik mogelijk gedurende de gehele levensduur van de machine, wat ook maximale prestaties garandeert. Naast de kwaliteit scoren de krachtige Liebherr-machines ook punten voor de snelle reactie van serviceteams. "Met Liebherr hebben we de beste service-ervaringen gehad en kregen we in een mum van tijd serviceoplossingen", vervolgt Trettin.
"We hebben ook gekozen voor Liebherr-machines vanwege het comfort voor de machinist en de gestandaardiseerde bedieningsfilosofie voor wielladers en graafmachines. Deze functies worden door alle betrokken partijen zeer gewaardeerd", legt Trettin uit. Het optionele Solidlink-snelwisselsysteem biedt de machinist nog meer gemak, waardoor de hydraulische aanbouwdelen binnen enkele seconden rechtstreeks vanuit de bestuurderscabine kunnen worden gewisseld. Deze volledig automatische wisseling, die met één druk op de knop plaatsvindt, leidt ook tot betere werkprestaties.
