Un projet majeur d'une valeur d'environ 21,5 millions d'euros est en cours de réalisation au bord du lac Reschen, dans la commune de Graun dans le Vinschgau (Italie). Afin de rendre la route nationale SS40 plus sûre, elle est déplacée plus près du réservoir. Le gigantesque projet, qui se déroulera en deux phases de construction sur trois ans, a débuté en avril 2023. De nombreuses machines Liebherr, dont dix tombereaux Liebherr TA 230 Litronic, sont impliquées et sont responsables à la fois du terrassement et de l'exécution du remblai.

La décision a été prise de protéger la route nationale du lac Reschen contre les chutes de pierres et les glissements de terrain. Pour y parvenir, un tronçon de route d'une longueur d'environ un kilomètre et demi est refait à 50 mètres à l'intérieur du lac Reschen. Au total, six entreprises de construction sont impliquées dans ce grand projet – avec environ 60 engins de terrassement, dont dix camions-bennes Liebherr ainsi que d'autres bouteurs Liebherr et pelles sur chenilles Liebherr. L'une de ces entreprises de construction est Marx GmbH. L'entreprise exploite actuellement environ sept camions TA 230 Litronic, dont certains ont été achetés par l'intermédiaire de Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH.

"Jusqu'à présent, ils se sont révélés être des engins de chantier très fiables, durables et robustes", déclare Marx, qui ne tarit pas d'éloges sur les tombereaux Liebherr. Tous les points de maintenance sont accessibles rapidement, facilement et en toute sécurité depuis une zone debout grâce à la disposition optimisée des composants et à un accès facile.

Entre la zone d'excavation au milieu du lac et les zones de déchargement au barrage, une voie supplémentaire a été aménagée pour les camions bennes afin d'atteindre des vitesses moyennes élevées et ainsi garantir une productivité élevée lors de ce projet d'envergure. Marx décrit les conditions du sol du lit du lac asséché, qui comprend certaines pentes, comme difficiles à certains endroits. Mais même là, le TA 230 fait ses preuves et démontre son énorme puissance de traction, même à pleine charge.

La raison en est la combinaison optimale d’un moteur puissant, d’une transmission efficace et d’une traction maximale. Sous le capot se trouve un moteur de machine de construction 6 cylindres d'une cylindrée de 12 litres et d'une puissance de 265 kW / 360 ch, qui garantit d'excellentes performances de conduite. La machine a une vitesse de pointe allant jusqu'à 57 km/h en marche avant et jusqu'à 16 km/h en marche arrière. La transmission efficace se compose d’une boîte de vitesses automatique Powershift à 8 rapports pour une transmission de puissance optimale. La transmission intégrale permanente 6 x 6 et les blocages de différentiel longitudinaux et latéraux à commutation de charge confèrent au camion-benne une traction durable, même sur terrain accidenté.

Afin de travailler de manière productive pendant de longues journées de travail, les tombereaux Liebherr reposent sur un concept de machine qui optimise le confort de conduite. Selon l'entrepreneur, tous les opérateurs de machines de Marx GmbH ont émis des commentaires positifs sur cet aspect : la TA 230 allie confort de conduite et confort de conduite technique. La cabine de l'opérateur est généreusement proportionnée et caractérisée par un design intérieur moderne. A major project worth around 21.5 million euros is being implemented at Lake Reschen in the municipality of Graun in Vinschgau (Italy). In order to make the SS40 state road safer, it is being relocated closer to the reservoir. The gigantic project, which will be implemented in two construction phases over three years, started in April 2023. Numerous Liebherr machines, including ten Liebherr TA 230 Litronic dump trucks, are involved and are responsible for both the earthmoving and execution of the backfill.

The decision was taken to protect the state road at Lake Reschen from rockfalls and landslides. To achieve this, a section of the road about one and a half kilometres in length is being relaid 50 metres inside Lake Reschen. A total of six construction companies are involved in this major project – with around 60 earthmoving machines, including ten Liebherr dump trucks as well as further Liebherr dozers and Liebherr crawler excavators. One of these construction companies is Marx GmbH. The company currently has around seven TA 230 Litronic trucks in operation, some of which were purchased through Liebherr-Mietpartner GmbH.
Efficient material handling with Liebherr dump trucks

The Liebherr dump trucks are assisting with the backfilling of an embankment on which the new state road will run. For this purpose, they are transporting excavated material from the bottom of the drained Lake Reschen to the operating location. The dam will be about 70 metres wide and 20 - 22 metres thick. This corresponds to approximately 2.5 million cubic metres of earth.

Franz Marx, Managing Director of Marx GmbH, is enthusiastic about the Liebherr dump trucks. Up to 28 tonnes of material can be moved with the machines per loading process. A powerful drivetrain combined with automatic traction control allows the machine to deliver outstanding driving performance with concentrated pulling power. "The dumpers are proving themselves thanks to their outstanding operational efficiency. This increases our handling capacity and allows longer cycle times here on the construction site," says Marx.

Every day, the dumpers at Lake Reschen are in use for up to twelve hours at a time. "So far they have proven to be very reliable, durable and robust construction machines," says Marx, who is full of praise for the Liebherr dump trucks. All maintenance points can be reached quickly, easily and safely from a standing area thanks to the optimised arrangement of the components and easy accessibility.

Between the excavation zone in the middle of the lake and the unloading zones at the dam, an extra lane was laid down for the dump trucks in order to achieve high average speeds and thus guarantee high productivity during this large-scale project. Marx describes the ground conditions on the drained lakebed, which includes some slopes, as difficult in certain places. But even there, the TA 230 is proving its worth and demonstrating its enormous tractive power, even when fully loaded.

The reason for this is the optimal combination of a powerful engine, efficient drivetrain and maximum traction. Under the bonnet there is a 6-cylinder construction machinery engine with 12 litres displacement and 265 kW / 360 hp, which ensures excellent driving performance. The machine has a top speed of up to 57 km/h in forward travel and up to 16 km/h in reverse. The efficient drivetrain consists of an automatic 8-speed powershift gearbox for optimal power transmission. The 6 x 6 permanent all-wheel drive and load-switchable longitudinal and lateral differential locks give the dump truck lasting traction, even on rough terrain.

In order to work productively during long shifts, the Liebherr dump trucks are based on a machine concept that maximises driving comfort. According to the contractor, all machine operators at Marx GmbH have reported positively about this aspect: the TA 230 combines operator comfort with technical driving comfort. The operator's cab is generously proportioned and characterised by a modern interior design. Large glass surfaces, without pillars obstructing the view, ensure optimal all-round visibility from the cab. Staggered steps and a generous driver's door provide easy and safe access to the cab. Various storage areas, stowage compartments (one of which is air-conditioned) and bottle holders further expand the available space. The clearly and intuitively arranged control elements make the machine operators' work easier. Hydropneumatic shock absorbers on the front axle and the elastic suspension on the operator's cab optimally absorb the vibrations that occur during operations. The soundproofed cab reduces the interior noise level to just 72 dB(A).

Aan het Reschenmeer in de gemeente Graun in Vinschgau (Italië) wordt een groot project uitgevoerd ter waarde van circa 21,5 miljoen euro. Om de rijksweg SS40 veiliger te maken, wordt deze dichter bij het stuwmeer verplaatst. Het gigantische project, dat in twee bouwfasen over drie jaar zal worden uitgevoerd, is in april 2023 van start gegaan. Talloze Liebherr-machines, waaronder tien Liebherr TA 230 Litronic dumptrucks, zijn erbij betrokken en zijn verantwoordelijk voor zowel het grondverzet als de uitvoering van de opvulling.

Het besluit werd genomen om de rijksweg bij het Reschenmeer te beschermen tegen steenslag en aardverschuivingen. Efficiënte materiaalbehandeling met Liebherr-dumpers

De dumptrucks van Liebherr helpen bij het opvullen van een dijk waarop de nieuwe rijksweg zal lopen. Hiervoor transporteren ze uitgegraven materiaal van de bodem van het drooggelegde Reschenmeer naar de exploitatielocatie. De dam wordt ongeveer 70 meter breed en 20 - 22 meter dik. "De dumpers bewijzen zichzelf dankzij hun uitstekende operationele efficiëntie. Dit vergroot onze verwerkingscapaciteit en maakt langere cyclustijden hier op de bouwplaats mogelijk", zegt Marx.

Elke dag zijn de dumpers aan het Reschenmeer wel twaalf uur lang in gebruik. “Tot nu toe zijn het zeer betrouwbare, duurzame en robuuste bouwmachines gebleken”, zegt Marx, die vol lof is over de Liebherr dumptrucks. Alle onderhoudspunten zijn snel, eenvoudig en veilig bereikbaar vanaf een staanplaats dankzij de geoptimaliseerde opstelling van de componenten en de goede bereikbaarheid.

De dumptrucks van Liebherr ondersteunen de opvulwerkzaamheden aan een dam en transporteren het uitgegraven materiaal van de bodem van het drooggelegde Reschenmeer naar de bedrijfslocatie.

Tussen de uitgravingszone midden in het meer en de loszones aan de dam werd een extra rijstrook aangelegd voor de dumptrucks om hoge gemiddelde snelheden te halen en zo een hoge productiviteit te garanderen tijdens dit grootschalige project. Marx beschrijft de bodemgesteldheid op de drooggelegde bodem, waartoe ook enkele hellingen behoren, op bepaalde plaatsen als moeilijk. Maar ook daar bewijst de TA 230 zijn waarde en zijn enorme trekkracht, ook bij volle belading.

De reden hiervoor is de optimale combinatie van een krachtige motor, efficiënte aandrijflijn en maximale tractie. Onder de motorkap bevindt zich een 6-cilinder bouwmachinemotor met een cilinderinhoud van 12 liter en 265 kW / 360 pk, die uitstekende rijprestaties garandeert. De machine heeft een topsnelheid van maximaal 57 km/u vooruit en maximaal 16 km/u achteruit. De efficiënte aandrijflijn bestaat uit een automatische powershift-versnellingsbak met 8 versnellingen voor een optimale krachtoverbrenging. De 6 x 6 permanente vierwielaandrijving en de lastschakelbare longitudinale en laterale differentieelsloten geven de dumptruck duurzame tractie, zelfs op ruw terrein.

Om tijdens lange diensten productief te kunnen werken, zijn de Liebherr dumptrucks gebaseerd op een machineconcept dat het rijcomfort maximaliseert. Volgens de aannemer hebben alle machinebedieners bij Marx GmbH positief gerapporteerd over dit aspect: de TA 230 combineert bedieningscomfort met technisch rijcomfort. De bestuurderscabine is royaal geproportioneerd en wordt gekenmerkt door een modern interieurontwerp. Grote glasvlakken, zonder dat pilaren het zicht belemmeren, zorgen voor optimaal zicht rondom vanuit de cabine. Verspringende treden en een royale bestuurdersdeur zorgen voor een gemakkelijke en veilige toegang tot de cabine. Diverse opbergvakken, opbergvakken (waarvan één met airconditioning) en flessenhouders vergroten de beschikbare ruimte nog verder. De duidelijk en intuïtief opgestelde bedieningselementen vergemakkelijken het werk van de machinebedieners. Hydropneumatische schokdempers op de vooras en de elastische vering van de bestuurderscabine absorberen optimaal de trillingen die tijdens het werk optreden. De geluiddichte cabine reduceert het geluidsniveau in het interieur tot slechts 72 dB(A).
