Kubota ouvre un nouveau centre de distribution

Kubota, aux côtés de son partenaire Broekman Logistics, a ouvert un nouveau centre de distribution de 62 000 m² à Weert, aux Pays-Bas.

Inauguré officiellement par une délégation de Kubota et Broekman Logistics le 14 avril, l'entrepôt présente une disposition optimisée des opérations de logistique et d'assemblage, qui, selon l'entreprise, raccourcira les délais et facilitera la croissance future de Kubota.

Les aspects de stockage, d'assemblage final et de logistique sortante de l'installation seront gérés par Broekman Logistics, qui s'occupera également du démontage complet (CKD) des pièces de production de Weert à l'usine de production de Kubota à Zweibrucken (D).

Toshitaka Matsuo, président de Kubota Baumaschinen, a déclaré : « Le déménagement dans le nouveau centre de distribution de Weert est un grand pas en avant pour Kubota et symbolise notre partenariat avec Broekman Logistics.

"Cette expansion représente un investissement important dans les activités commerciales et nous aidera non seulement à améliorer notre gamme actuelle de services, mais aussi à accroître la satisfaction des concessionnaires, des distributeurs et, en fin de compte, des clients finaux."

L'ouverture de l'entrepôt est la dernière collaboration entre Kubota et Broekman Logistics, qui a débuté en 2006. Depuis lors, les sociétés respectives ont partagé des centres à Born et à Sittard, avant que la décision ne soit prise en 2019 de développer le nouveau site à Weert.

Rik Pek, directeur général de Broekman Logistics, a déclaré : « La relation avec Kubota nous est très chère en tant qu'entreprise, mais aussi à moi personnellement. Après des années consécutives de croissance, il était temps d'intensifier encore notre coopération et de doter Kubota d'un entrepôt à la pointe de la technologie.

Kubota opens new distribution centre

Kubota, alongside its partner Broekman Logistics, has opened a new 62,000 m² distribution centre in Weert, the Netherlands.

Officially opened by a delegation from Kubota and Broekman Logistics on April 14, the warehouse features an optimised layout of logistics and assembly operations, which the company’s say will shorten lead times and facilitate future growth for Kubota.

The storage, final assembly and outbound logistics aspects of the facility will be managed by Broekman Logistics, who will also handle the Complete Knocked Down (CKD) of production parts from Weert to Kubota’s production plant in Zweibrucken (D).

Toshitaka Matsuo, president of Kubota Baumaschinen, said, “The move to the new distribution centre in Weert is a big step forward for Kubota and symbolises our partnership with Broekman Logistics.

“This expansion represents a significant investment of business activities and will not only help us further improve our current range of services, but also increase the satisfaction of dealers, distributors and ultimately, end customers.”

The opening of the warehouse is the latest collaboration between Kubota and Broekman Logistics, which initially started in 2006. Since then the respective companies have shared centres in both Born and Sittard, before the decision was made in 2019 to develop the new location in Weert.

Kubota opent nieuw distributiecentrum

Kubota heeft samen met haar partner Broekman Logistics een nieuw distributiecentrum van 62.000 m² geopend in Weert, Nederland.

Officieel geopend door een delegatie van Kubota en Broekman Logistics op 14 april, heeft het magazijn een geoptimaliseerde lay-out van logistiek en assemblageactiviteiten, wat volgens het bedrijf de doorlooptijden zal verkorten en toekomstige groei voor Kubota zal vergemakkelijken.

De opslag, eindmontage en uitgaande logistieke aspecten van de faciliteit zullen worden beheerd door Broekman Logistics, die ook de Complete Knocked Down (CKD) van productieonderdelen van Weert naar Kubota's productiefabriek in Zweibrucken (D) zal verzorgen.

De opening van het magazijn is de nieuwste samenwerking tussen Kubota en Broekman Logistics, die voor het eerst begon in 2006. Sindsdien hebben de respectievelijke bedrijven gedeelde centra in zowel Born als Sittard, voordat in 2019 werd besloten om de nieuwe locatie in Weert te ontwikkelen.
