Kalmar, qui fait partie de Cargotec, a reçu une commande importante de la part du principal fournisseur norvégien de services logistiques Wallenius Wilhelmsen pour la fourniture de quatre chariots élévateurs électriques lourds, de deux reachstackers électriques et de trois tracteurs de terminal lourds pour le réseau logistique américain de l'entreprise. La commande, qui comprend également l’outil de gestion des performances de la flotte Kalmar Insight, a été enregistrée dans le cadre des prises de commandes de Cargotec au quatrième trimestre 2023.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen est un leader mondial du transport et de la logistique de véhicules, employant plus de 9 500 personnes dans 28 pays. Le réseau terrestre de services logistiques de l’entreprise comprend huit terminaux, 11 réseaux de distribution intérieurs et plus de 66 centres de services et de traitement dans le monde entier. En mer, la société exploite 125 navires sur 15 routes commerciales à travers six continents.

L’un des objectifs stratégiques de l’entreprise en ce qui concerne la réduction des émissions de sa logistique terrestre est son initiative de flotte propre selon laquelle tous les nouveaux équipements, lorsque cela est possible, sont à zéro émission.

Kalmar, part of Cargotec, has received a large order from leading Norwegian logistics service provider Wallenius Wilhelmsen to supply four heavy electric forklift trucks, two electric reachstackers and three heavy terminal tractors for the company’s US logistics network. The order, which also includes the Kalmar Insight fleet performance management tool, was booked in Cargotec’s Q4 2023 order intake.

Wallenius Wilhelmsen is a global leader in vehicle transportation and logistics, employing over  9,500 people across 28 countries. The company’s land-based network of logistics services comprises eight terminals, 11 inland distribution networks and more than 66 services and processing centres around the world. At sea, the company operates 125 vessels in 15 trade routes across six continents.

One of the company’s strategic goals with regards to reducing its onshore logistics emissions is its clean fleet initiative whereby all new equipment, where practicable, is zero emission.

Kalmar, onderdeel van Cargotec, heeft een grote order ontvangen van de toonaangevende Noorse logistieke dienstverlener Wallenius Wilhelmsen voor de levering van vier zware elektrische vorkheftrucks, twee elektrische reachstackers en drie zware terminaltrekkers voor het Amerikaanse logistieke netwerk van het bedrijf. De order, die ook de Kalmar Insight fleet performance management tool omvat, werd geboekt tijdens de orderintake van Cargotec in het vierde kwartaal van 2023.
