Le groupe Iveco présente sa stratégie multi-énergie et lance de nouveaux produits au salon IAA Transportation 2024 à Hanovre, en Allemagne.

IVECO présente deux nouveaux véhicules électriques à batterie : le camion lourd S-eWay et le châssis-cabine léger eMoovy.

Le S-eWay « Rigid » offre une autonomie de conduite allant jusqu'à 400 km et des capacités de charge rapide, tandis que l'eMoovy offre jusqu'à 320 km d'autonomie et une charge rapide.

FPT Industrial présente des groupes motopropulseurs innovants, notamment le moteur à combustion interne à hydrogène XCURSOR 13 et le système d'extension d'autonomie du moteur CURSOR 9 H2.

IVECO et FPT Industrial présentent des services améliorés tels que le diagnostic prédictif basé sur l'IA, la surveillance de la santé du conducteur et le routage intelligent.

IVECO présente sa gamme étendue de véhicules alimentés par une gamme diversifiée de sources d'énergie - dont le HVO, le gaz naturel, le biométhane, l'électricité et l'hydrogène - tout en lançant la première mondiale de deux nouveaux véhicules électriques à batterie : le camion lourd S-eWay dans sa configuration rigide et le châssis-cabine léger eMoovy.

Le S-eWay « Rigid » a été conçu de A à Z par IVECO, y compris le logiciel embarqué. Il dispose d’une autonomie allant jusqu’à 400 km et offre des capacités de charge rapide qui peuvent fournir 200 km d’autonomie supplémentaire en moins de 45 minutes. Le nouveau véhicule est équipé d’un essieu électrique FPT Industrial et offre une capacité totale allant jusqu’à 490 kWh, ce qui le rend optimal pour les missions urbaines et régionales. Ce camion élargit l’offre d’électromobilité lourde de la gamme S-eWay, qui comprend déjà la version articulée.

L’eMoovy, le châssis-cabine entièrement électrique à batterie du segment moyen de 2,5 à 3,5 tonnes, offre la solution zéro émission idéale pour les missions urbaines, y compris les livraisons de porte à porte. Il a une autonomie allant jusqu’à 320 km, avec la charge la plus rapide du segment : il peut atteindre jusqu’à 100 km d’autonomie supplémentaire en moins de 10 minutes. Les configurations de stockage d'énergie ont une capacité totale allant jusqu'à 76 kWh et la cabine établit de nouvelles normes en matière de vie à bord avec un confort digne d'une voiture. L'eMoovy est fabriqué par Hyundai et personnalisé localement et distribué sur le marché européen par IVECO, résultat du dernier partenariat réussi entre le groupe Iveco et Hyundai Motor Company.

Depuis sa fondation, le groupe Iveco a adopté une approche multi-énergie neutre sur le plan technologique pour la décarbonisation afin d'aider les clients à passer au transport zéro émission. Sur le stand IVECO, le public peut découvrir un prototype du S-Way équipé d'un moteur à combustion interne à hydrogène spécial XCURSOR de 13 litres et d'un concept de camion hybride lourd doté d'un essieu électrique et du système d'extension d'autonomie du moteur CURSOR de 9 litres H2. Ces moteurs ont été développés par FPT Industrial, la marque du groupe Iveco dédiée à la conception et à la production de groupes motopropulseurs à faible impact environnemental.

FPT Industrial dispose également d'un espace d'exposition dédié à l'IAA où des écrans interactifs présentent ces moteurs et plusieurs autres produits. Le XCURSOR 13 déjà mentionné est un moteur à base unique multicarburant conçu avec un noyau commun et optimisé pour fonctionner avec plusieurs carburants : diesel, gaz naturel, hydrogène. Le CURSOR 9 H2 est une solution à zéro émission de CO2 pour le transport lourd, ainsi que le nouveau prototype N67 Hythane alimenté par un mélange d'hydrogène et de méthane. Sont également exposés la dernière génération d'essieux électrifiés de la marque pour les applications légères, moyennes et lourdes, ainsi que des systèmes de batteries pour les applications légères.
Des services améliorés et de nouveaux marchés

IVECO et FPT Industrial présentent tous deux une gamme de services destinés à améliorer l'expérience client, notamment les nouvelles solutions embarquées qui peuvent être intégrées aux applications client et tierces via le système d'infodivertissement, les technologies qui fournissent des informations en temps réel aux conducteurs et les moteurs connectés à la salle de contrôle pour une surveillance à distance. Iveco Group showcases its multi-energy strategy and launches new products at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, Germany.

IVECO introduces two new Battery Electric Vehicles: the S-eWay heavy-duty truck and the eMoovy light chassis cab.

The S-eWay ‘Rigid’ offers a driving range of up to 400 km and rapid charging capabilities, while the eMoovy provides up to 320 km range and fast charging.

IVECO is exhibiting its extended line-up of vehicles powered by a diversified range of energy sources – including HVO, natural gas, bio-methane, electricity and hydrogen – while launching the global premiere of two new Battery Electric Vehicles: the S-eWay heavy-duty truck in its rigid configuration and the light chassis cab eMoovy.

The S-eWay ‘Rigid’ was designed from the ground up by IVECO, including the software on board. It has a driving range of up to 400 km and offers rapid charging capabilities that can provide 200 km of additional autonomy in less than 45 minutes. The new vehicle is equipped with an FPT Industrial electric axle and offers a total capacity of up to 490 kWh, making it optimal for urban and regional missions. This truck widens the heavy-duty electro-mobility offer of the S-eWay line-up, which already includes the articulated version.

The eMoovy, the fully battery electric chassis cab in the mid 2.5 to 3.5-ton segment, provides the ideal zeroemission solution for urban missions, including door-to-door deliveries. It has a range of up to 320 km, with the fastest charge in the segment: it can reach up to 100 km of additional autonomy in less than 10 minutes. The energy storage configurations have a total capacity of up to 76 kWh and the cab sets new standards in onboard living with car-like comfort. The eMoovy is manufactured by Hyundai and locally customised and distributed on the European market by IVECO, as the latest outcome of the successful partnership between Iveco Group and Hyundai Motor Company.

Since its foundation, Iveco Group has employed a technology-neutral, multi-energy approach to decarbonisation in support of customers transitioning to zero-emission transport. The Group has the right solution ready for the distinct circumstances, requirements and missions of each customer, applying stateof-the-art technologies and offering all propulsion options.

On the IVECO stand, the public can see a prototype of the S-Way equipped with a special XCURSOR 13- litre Hydrogen Internal Combustion Engine and a hybrid heavy-duty truck concept featuring an electric axle and the CURSOR 9-litre H2 engine range-extending system. These propulsions were developed by FPT Industrial, the Iveco Group brand dedicated to the design and production of low-environmental impact powertrains.

FPT Industrial also has dedicated exhibit space at IAA where interactive displays showcase these engines and several other products. The already mentioned XCURSOR 13 is a multi-fuel single base engine designed with a common core and optimised to run on multiple fuels: diesel, natural gas, hydrogen. The CURSOR 9 H2 is a zero CO2 emission solution for heavy-duty transport, along with the new N67 Hythane prototype fuelled by a blend of hydrogen and methane. Also on display are the brand’s latest generation of electrified axles for light, medium and heavy applications, and battery systems for light applications.
Enhanced services and new markets

IVECO and FPT Industrial are both exhibiting an array of services to enhance the customer experience, including the new on-board solutions that can be integrated into customer and third-party apps through the infotainment system, technologies that provide real time information to drivers, and engines connected to the control room for remote monitoring. There are several AI-based services on display as well that improve uptime, safety and productivity, such as predictive diagnosis, driver health monitoring and smart routing.

IVECO CAPITAL is also at IAA Transportation with its comprehensive range of financial services for the purchase, rent or lease of commercial vehicles to fit the always evolving needs of customers. In addition to financing, insurances and IVECO services, IVECO CAPITAL is exhibiting its latest services launched, including IVECO PAY and the mobility service card in collaboration with Eurowag. Also Premium Protect, the new comprehensive insurance coverage designed for the German market, is being presented.

GATE is showcasing its innovative pay-per-use business model designed for the long-term rental of green commercial vehicles and announcing its expansion into Germany, its second market after Italy.
