Le moteur N67 NG de FPT Industrial équipe l'IVECO Eurocargo CNG, qui a remporté le prix Sustainable Truck of the Year dans la catégorie Distribution.

Le moteur N67 NG, conçu pour les applications de camions de poids moyen, offre une cylindrée, une puissance et un couple accrus tout en réduisant les émissions de CO2 jusqu'à 10 %.

Le moteur est compatible avec le GNC et le biométhane, ce qui permet de réduire encore les émissions et d'obtenir la meilleure consommation de carburant de sa catégorie.

Les principales caractéristiques comprennent un collecteur d'échappement en fonte résistant au nickel, un turbocompresseur à soupape de décharge refroidi par eau et l'absence d'EGR, ce qui garantit une fiabilité élevée et un bruit réduit.

Un facteur clé de la durabilité de l'Eurocargo CNG, le véhicule phare d'IVECO dans le segment des poids moyens, a sans aucun doute été le N67 NG de FPT Industrial, conçu et fabriqué pour IVECO sous le nom de Tector 7. Le N67 NG est le moteur de la marque pour les applications de camions de poids moyen, ce qui fait de l'Eurocargo CNG le seul camion de ce type en Europe à proposer du gaz naturel sur toute la gamme et l'un des camions les plus populaires du marché. Evolution du précédent N60 NG, ce moteur bénéficie d'une cylindrée augmentée de 6,7 litres, d'une puissance accrue de 280 ch et d'un couple accru de 1 000 Nm, ce qui correspond aux performances de la gamme diesel tout en réduisant les émissions de CO2 jusqu'à -10 %. Trois puissances sont disponibles : 220 ch/800 Nm, 250 ch/850 Nm et 280 ch/1 000 Nm. Ce moteur est le support idéal pour toute mission sur route, offrant le meilleur entretien de sa catégorie, avec des intervalles d'entretien de l'huile et des bougies d'allumage allant jusqu'à 70 000 km pour une utilisation régionale, ainsi qu'une durabilité de premier ordre. Un autre avantage clé pour les clients est sa grande fiabilité, grâce au collecteur d'échappement en fonte Nickel-Resist, au turbocompresseur à soupape de décharge refroidi par eau et à l'absence d'EGR. La combustion stœchiométrique assure la meilleure consommation de carburant de sa catégorie et un bruit inférieur à celui de la version diesel. Le N67 NG est compatible avec le GNV et le biométhane, ce dernier permettant des réductions d'émissions supplémentaires.

A key factor in the sustainability of the Eurocargo CNG, IVECO's flagship vehicle in the medium-weight segment, was undoubtedly FPT Industrial’s N67 NG – designed and manufactured for IVECO as the Tector 7. The N67 NG is the brand’s engine for medium-duty truck applications that makes the Eurocargo CNG the only such truck in Europe to offer natural gas across the full range and one of the most popular trucks on the market. As an evolution of the previous N60 NG, this engine has increased displacement of 6.7 liters, increased power of 280 hp, and increased torque of 1000 Nm, matching the diesel line-up’s performance while reducing CO2 emissions by up to -10%. Three ratings are available: 220 hp/800 Nm, 250 hp/850 Nm, and 280 hp/1000 Nm. This engine is the perfect support for any on-road mission, offering best-in-class maintenance, with oil and spark plugs service intervals of up to 70,000 km for regional use, along with class-leading durability. Another key benefit for customers is its high reliability, thanks to the Nickel-Resist cast-iron exhaust manifold, water cooled wastegate turbocharger, and no EGR. Stoichiometric combustion assures best-in-class fuel consumption, and lower noise than the Diesel version. The N67 NG is compatible with CNG and biomethane, the latter enabling additional emission reductions.
