Hilti va racheter une entreprise néerlandaise de logiciels

Le groupe Hilti a conclu un accord pour acquérir 4PS Group, une société de logiciels basée aux Pays-Bas spécialisée dans les solutions de gestion d'entreprise pour les secteurs de la construction, du génie civil et de l'installation. Aucun détail financier n'a été dévoilé.

Selon Hilti, l'achat est la "prochaine étape" de ses plans stratégiques visant à développer sa propre activité de logiciels et permettra aux deux sociétés de "renforcer leur position" sur le marché et de "conduire la transformation numérique de l'industrie de la construction".

L'accord, qui a maintenant été signé par les deux sociétés et est soumis à l'approbation des autorités de surveillance, verra le personnel du groupe 4PS rester dans l'entreprise, Wim Jansen, André Overeem et Martin Westerink devant rester au conseil d'administration.

Thomas Hillbrand, membre du conseil d'administration de Hilti, a déclaré : « En tant qu'entreprise travaillant en étroite collaboration avec ses clients et soucieuse de soutenir la transformation numérique de l'industrie de la construction, 4PS Group est la solution idéale pour Hilti. Johan Bakker, directeur des ventes et du marketing chez 4PS Group, a ajouté que la société était "impatiente de s'associer à Hilti" et a décrit l'acquisition comme "une prochaine étape importante pour pouvoir jouer un rôle de premier plan sur le marché européen".

Selon Paula Middelkoop, directrice produit et développement chez 4PS Group, cette décision lui permettra de "se concentrer pleinement sur le fait de devenir le partenaire de numérisation de confiance pour l'industrie de la construction".

Hilti to buy Dutch software business

Hilti Group has reached an agreement to acquire 4PS Group, a Netherlands-based software company that specialises in business management solutions for the construction, civil engineering and installation sectors. No financial details have been revealed.

According to Hilti, the purchase is the “next step” in its strategic plans to expand its own software business and will enable both companies to “strengthen their position” in the market and “drive the digital transformation of the construction industry.”

The agreement, which has now been signed by both companies and is subject to approval by oversight authorities, will see 4PS Group staff remain in the company, with Wim Jansen, André Overeem and Martin Westerink set to remain on the board of directors.

Thomas Hillbrand, member of the Hilti executive board, said, “As a company closely working with customers, and with a focus on supporting the digital transformation of the construction industry, 4PS Group is a perfect fit for Hilti. We also share the conviction that there is enormous productivity potential for construction companies in optimized business processes.

“Construction projects are complex, and administrative tasks take up a large amount of time. All the more reason for us to digitalize processes and make information easily and quickly available.”

Johan Bakker, director sales & marketing at 4PS Group added that the company is “looking forward to joining forces with Hilti” and described the acquisition as “an important next step to be able to take a leading role in the European market.”

According to Paula Middelkoop, director product & development at 4PS Group, the move will enable it to “fully focus on becoming the trusted digitalisation partner for the construction industry.”

Hilti koopt Nederlands softwarebedrijf

Hilti Group heeft overeenstemming bereikt over de overname van 4PS Group, een in Nederland gevestigd softwarebedrijf dat gespecialiseerd is in bedrijfsmanagementoplossingen voor de bouw, civiele techniek en installatiesector. Er zijn geen financiële details bekend gemaakt.

Volgens Hilti is de aankoop de "volgende stap" in zijn strategische plannen om zijn eigen softwarebedrijf uit te breiden en zal het beide bedrijven in staat stellen "hun positie in de markt te versterken" en "de digitale transformatie van de bouwsector te stimuleren".

De overeenkomst, die nu door beide bedrijven is ondertekend en onder voorbehoud van goedkeuring door toezichthoudende autoriteiten, zorgt ervoor dat het personeel van 4PS Group in het bedrijf blijft, met Wim Jansen, André Overeem en Martin Westerink in de raad van bestuur.
