Puissant et "prêt pour le numérique"

Hamm participe au bauma 2022, où il présentera la série HC - une nouvelle génération de rouleaux de terrassement pour tous les marchés. Les compacteurs atteignent un haut niveau de puissance de compactage tout en obtenant simultanément une réduction des émissions de CO2. Une plateforme pour tous les marchés

Le fabricant réunit les deux séries de compacteurs précédentes de Hamm - la série 3000 (Tier 3) et la série H (EPA Tier 4/EU Stage V) - avec la série HC sur une seule plate-forme ainsi que des modèles d'un poids opérationnel de 11 –25 t. Nouveau design

Grande puissance, économique en fonctionnement continu

Grâce à de nouvelles approches dans la gestion des machines, la série HC atteint des performances globales accrues. Le mode ECO intégré assiste l'opérateur afin qu'il puisse travailler aussi souvent que possible dans la plage de charge partielle économique, ce qui réduit le besoin de refroidissement. La vitesse est réduite pour cela – mais, grâce à une grande pompe de déplacement, sans compromettre la puissance. Ce concept permet d'économiser du carburant et de réduire le bruit et les émissions de gaz d'échappement. Avec le système d'arrêt du moteur en option, la consommation d'énergie peut encore être réduite.
Poste de travail confortable

Hamm a également encore augmenté le confort de l'opérateur : la cabine offre à l'opérateur plus de 20 % de marche en plus, environ 30 % d'espace en plus et de nombreux compartiments de rangement. De plus, les vibrations et le niveau de bruit dans la cabine sont considérablement réduits grâce aux matériaux et à la conception. Un système de chauffage et de climatisation confortable, le concept de commande Easy Drive, l'unité de commande innovante du siège, la direction confortable ainsi qu'une ventilation moderne complètent le confort offert par des engins de chantier bien conçus.
Grande visibilité de jour comme de nuit

Dans l'obscurité, les lumières LED standard éclairent l'environnement dans toutes les situations de travail. De jour comme de nuit, grâce au canal de vision dans le capot, le rouleau répond aux exigences de champ de vision selon la norme DIN EN 474. Sur la cabine, un grand miroir supplémentaire avec détection de proximité améliore la vision de l'environnement immédiat, et des astuces de conception garantissent des miroirs à faible vibration. De plus, les rétroviseurs peuvent être facilement réglés depuis la cabine.
Équipé pour le chantier numérique

La série HC est bien préparée pour les exigences de qualité et de communication du futur. L'application "Smart Doc", développée par Hamm, affiche graphiquement tous les paramètres de compactage clés ainsi que la progression du compactage, et enregistre la rigidité mesurée ainsi que les données de position. Powerful and "digital-ready"

Hamm is attending bauma 2022, where they will present the HC series – a new generation of earthwork rollers for all markets. The compactors achieve a high level of compaction power while simultaneously achieving a reduction in CO2 emissions. The communication capabilities are new: All models in the HC series are "digital-ready" since they can be equipped with various interfaces for the digital construction site.
One platform for all markets

The manufacturer is bringing together the two previous compactor series from Hamm – the 3000 series (Tier 3) and the H series (EPA Tier 4/EU Stage V) – with the HC series on one platform together with models with an operating weight of 11–25 t. The diesel engines comply with the regional requirements, and their power varies between 85 and 160 kW, depending on the weight. On all models, the drum width is 2140 mm. In addition to the previously known sales variants, in future, there will be CR machines with reinforced components for applications on difficult terrain and special equipment for applications on rocky ground.
New design

The HC series is recognisable from the new, athletic design and the view channel in the engine hood. A new frame concept also guarantees increased tank volume; in particular, in future, the heavy compactors will be delivered to the construction site with a 336 l fuel tank.
Impressive compaction parameters

In comparison to the predecessor models, Hamm has increased the compaction power. The manufacturer has increased the centrifugal force by up to 15%; and the static linear load is as high as 80.6 kg/cm. There are even innovations when it comes to the steering: A new cast articulated joint with articulated joint lock allows for a greater steering and swing angle with improved kinematics. Thanks to the optimised weight distribution in combination with the Traction Control, the gradeability has also been further improved. Furthermore, the front vehicle and the scraper have been redesigned. This has resulted in significantly increased clearance on the drum, meaning that no material can accumulate there, which eliminates cleaning work.

Large slope angles and powerful drives guarantee that the compactors in the HC series achieve excellent compaction on uneven and steep terrain – even on inclines over 60%.

Great power, economical in continuous operation

Thanks to new approaches in machine management, the HC series achieves increased overall performance. The integrated ECO mode supports the operator so that they can work in the economical partial-load range as often as possible, which reduces the need for cooling. The speed is reduced for this – but, thanks to a large travel pump, without compromising the power. This concept saves fuel and reduces the noise and exhaust gas emissions. With the optional engine stop system, the energy consumption can be reduced even further.
Comfortable workstation

Hamm has also again increased the operator comfort: The cab offers the operator over 20% more tread, around 30% increased space, and numerous storage compartments. Furthermore, the vibrations and the noise level in the cab are significantly reduced thanks to the materials and design. A comfortable heating and air-conditioning system, the Easy Drive operating concept, the innovative seat operating unit, the comfortable steering as well as modern ventilation round off the comfort offered by well-conceived construction machinery.
Great visibility during the day and night

In the dark, the standard LED lights light up the environment in all working situations. At day and night, thanks to the view channel in the hood, the roller meets the requirements for the field of vision in accordance with DIN EN 474. On the cab, a large additional mirror with proximity detection improves the view of the immediate environment, and design tricks guarantee low-vibration mirrors. Furthermore, the mirrors can be easily adjusted from the cab.
Equipped for the digital construction site

The HC series is well prepared for the quality and communication requirements of the future. The "Smart Doc" app, which was developed by Hamm, graphically displays all of the key compaction parameters as well as the compaction progress, and logs the measured rigidity as well as the position data. In the Smart Doc app, even inexperienced drivers can immediately see which areas have been sufficiently compacted and which areas still require compaction. Furthermore, the compactors can communicate, even with digital applications from third parties, via a standardised interface.

Groot vermogen, zuinig bij continu gebruik

Hamm heeft ook het bestuurderscomfort opnieuw verhoogd: de cabine biedt de bestuurder meer dan 20% meer profiel, ongeveer 30% meer ruimte en talrijke opbergvakken. Bovendien worden de trillingen en het geluidsniveau in de cabine aanzienlijk verminderd dankzij de materialen en het ontwerp. Een comfortabel verwarmings- en airconditioningsysteem, het Easy Drive-bedieningsconcept, de innovatieve stoelbediening, de comfortabele besturing en moderne ventilatie ronden het comfort van doordachte bouwmachines af.
Goed zicht overdag en 's nachts

In het donker verlichten de standaard LED-lampen de omgeving in alle werksituaties. Uitgerust voor de digitale bouwplaats

De HC-serie is goed voorbereid op de kwaliteits- en communicatie-eisen van de toekomst. De door Hamm ontwikkelde app "Smart Doc" geeft alle belangrijke verdichtingsparameters en het verdichtingsvoortgang grafisch weer en registreert de gemeten stijfheid en de positiegegevens. In de Smart Doc app kunnen zelfs onervaren chauffeurs direct zien welke gebieden voldoende verdicht zijn en welke gebieden nog verdicht moeten worden. Verder kunnen de compactors via een gestandaardiseerde interface communiceren, ook met digitale applicaties van derden.
