Au salon Bauma, PALFINGER présente une solution combinée innovante : le premier prototype de la gamme urbaine de grues de recyclage GÉNÉRATION 3 (TZU++ TEC) associé au nouveau bras de chargement HT 18 TEC. Ensemble, ils forment un véhicule tout-en-un performant, combinant une grue robuste pour les applications de construction et de recyclage avec un bras de chargement avancé. Afin de démontrer la robustesse et les capacités avancées de ses solutions pour les environnements exigeants, PALFINGER présente également le nouveau bras de chargement HP 20 A TEC.

Solution combinée : TZU++ TEC et bras de chargement télescopique

La grue TZU++ TEC de la gamme urbaine GÉNÉRATION 3 présentée à la Bauma est spécialement conçue comme une grue frontale, ce qui en fait le complément idéal des bras de chargement télescopiques comme le HT 18 TEC. Cette combinaison offrira une flexibilité exceptionnelle pour la manutention des engins de chantier, du gravier, de la terre et des déblais d'arbustes, garantissant un chargement et un déchargement rapides et précis. Véritable outil multifonction, la grue de recyclage remplacera même les pelles ou les chargeuses sur pneus, optimisant ainsi les opérations sur les chantiers urbains exigus. L'adaptabilité du bras de chargement permet le transport de différents types de conteneurs, augmentant ainsi l'efficacité globale.

En intégrant la grue PALFINGER EPSILON TZU++ TEC et le bras de chargement PALFINGER HT 18 TEC sur un seul camion, ce véhicule tout-en-un réduit considérablement la consommation de carburant, les coûts de main-d'œuvre et les besoins de maintenance, maximisant ainsi la productivité et minimisant les temps d'arrêt.

Les grues utilisées en centre-ville doivent être compactes et capables d'effectuer des chargements et des déchargements rapides, qu'il s'agisse de manutentionner du paillis d'écorce, de vider des conteneurs en verre ou d'assister des chantiers de construction. C'est pourquoi PALFINGER EPSILON a conçu la gamme urbaine avec deux systèmes de bras différents offrant des portées comprises entre 9,2 et 10,2 mètres. Les grues lèvent entre 12 et 23 tonnes, garantissant une grande polyvalence. Le passage interne des flexibles dans le mécanisme de rotation et les stabilisateurs optimise l'espace de la grue. La fonctionnalité multi-outils permet une manutention flexible des matériaux, la nouvelle benne preneuse pouvant soulever jusqu'à 6 tonnes.
Confort de l'opérateur et contrôle total grâce à des solutions intelligentes

La gamme Urban se distingue par le système de commande de grue PALTRONIC 180 associé au logiciel TEC intelligent. L'intégration complète des capteurs et le PALTRONIC 180 augmentent la capacité de levage jusqu'à 70 % dans les positions de flèche raides. Le système de commande TEC électrique offre une flexibilité accrue et comprend des systèmes de sécurité pour la stabilité et la protection contre les surcharges. Grâce au SMART CONTROL, pour une utilisation intuitive de la pointe de la grue, la manipulation est plus facile que jamais, réduisant et simplifiant également le temps de formation des opérateurs. L'efficacité est encore améliorée par le système de levage haute puissance HPLS+ (High Power Lifting System) et l'amortissement en fin de course.

Lors du développement de la gamme Urban, PALFINGER EPSILON s'est concentré sur les besoins des opérateurs, ce qui a permis d'importantes améliorations ergonomiques. La plateforme surélevée avec commandes par joystick offre un accès large et sécurisé, sans pédales. Une surface d'appui unique permet aux opérateurs de reposer leurs pieds pendant les opérations prolongées, pour un confort accru.

Selon la tâche, les opérateurs peuvent choisir entre la plateforme surélevée ou la radiocommande P6. Pour plus de sécurité, un seul mode de commande est actif à la fois.

Le bras de chargement HT 18 TEC est équipé d'un crochet télescopique, idéal pour les tâches de recyclage nécessitant une manutention flexible des conteneurs. Le bras télescopique assure un positionnement précis, améliorant ainsi l'efficacité du chargement et du déchargement. Offrant une capacité de levage allant jusqu'à 18 tonnes, il a été conçu pour les tâches lourdes et exigeantes. Afin d'optimiser la configuration de ses bras de chargement, PALFINGER propose désormais des packs d'options adaptés aux principaux défis actuels : performance, confort et camions électriques.

Également présenté au salon Bauma, le bras de manutention HP 20 A TEC est conçu pour les applications agricoles et de construction exigeant une robustesse et une puissance de levage élevées. Sa capacité maximale est de 20 tonnes et il peut manipuler des conteneurs de 4,25 à 6,0 mètres. Le système POWER gère facilement les charges les plus lourdes, tandis que le bloc de distribution SDS180 offre une capacité hydraulique accrue. Les bras de manutention PALFINGER POWER bénéficient désormais de la nouvelle configuration TEC, donnant accès aux dernières options développées pour simplifier le travail quotidien des opérateurs, des propriétaires et des services après-vente.
V Drive et TEC pour bras de manutention : Contrôle total et performances maximales

Les modèles HT 18 TEC et HP 20 A TEC sont tous deux équipés du V Drive, le nouveau système de commande de cabine de PALFINGER. Entièrement personnalisable selon l'application, V Drive permet un contrôle intuitif directement depuis la cabine.

Pour la première fois, PALFINGER introduit également la fonction de mémorisation de position pour les bras de manutention TEC. La butée de hauteur de crochet préréglée et la technologie d'atterrissage en douceur garantissent des opérations fluides et sûres, tout en protégeant le camion, le bras de chargement, le conteneur et le sol. La hauteur de crochet peut être facilement réinitialisée par une longue pression sur le bouton V Drive, et l'interface conviviale simplifie la manipulation.

La série TEC offre également une conception boulonnée modulaire, simplifiant le remplacement des pièces et les mises à niveau, augmentant ainsi la disponibilité de la solution. De plus, le graissage centralisé améliore l'efficacité de la maintenance, et la communication CANbus entre l'unité et le camion optimise la consommation d'énergie en garantissant un régime moteur optimal en permanence.

At bauma, PALFINGER presents an innovative combined solution: the first prototype from the GENERATION 3 Urban Range of recycling cranes (TZU++ TEC) with the new HT 18 TEC hookloader. Together they create a powerful all-in-one vehicle, combining a strong crane for construction and recycling applications with an advanced hookloader. To further demonstrate the robustness and advanced capabilities of its solutions for demanding environments, PALFINGER is also showcasing the new HP 20 A TEC hookloader.

Combined Solution: TZU++ TEC and telescopic hookloader

The TZU++ TEC crane from the GENERATION 3 Urban Range presented at bauma is specifically designed as a front-mounted crane, making it the perfect match for telescopic hookloaders like the HT 18 TEC. This combination will offer exceptional flexibility in handling construction machinery, gravel, soil, and shrub cuttings, ensuring fast and precise loading and unloading. As a true multitool, the recycling crane will even replace excavators or wheel loaders, optimizing operations in tight urban job sites. Meanwhile, the hookloader’s adaptability allows for the transport of various container types, increasing overall efficiency.

By integrating the PALFINGER EPSILON TZU++ TEC crane and the PALFINGER HT 18 TEC hookloader on a single truck, this all-in-one vehicle significantly reduces fuel consumption, labor costs, maintenance needs, ultimately maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime.

Cranes working in inner-city areas must be compact and capable of fast loading and unloading – whether handling bark mulch, emptying glass containers, or supporting construction sites. This is why PALFINGER EPSILON designed the Urban Range with two different arm systems offering reaches between 9.2 and 10.2 meters. The cranes lift between 12 and 23 metric tons, ensuring high versatility. Internal hose routing in the slewing mechanism and stabilizers increases the crane’s space efficiency. The multitool functionality allows for flexible material handling, with the new clamshell grab capable of lifting up to 6 tons.
Operator comfort and full control through smart solutions

The hallmark of the Urban Range is the PALTRONIC 180 crane control system combined with intelligent TEC software. Full sensor integration and the PALTRONIC 180 boost lifting capacity by up to 70 percent in steep boom positions. The electric TEC control system offers added flexibility and includes safety systems for stability and overload protection. With SMART CONTROL for intuitive crane tip operation, crane handling is easier than ever – also shortening and simplifying operator training time. Efficiency is further enhanced by the High Power Lifting System (HPLS+) lifting power boost and end-stop damping.

While developing the Urban Range, PALFINGER EPSILON focused on operator needs, resulting in significant ergonomic improvements. The high stand with joystick controls offers wide and secure access with no need for foot pedals. A unique leaning surface allows operators to rest their feet during extended operations, providing greater comfort.

Depending on the task, operators can choose between the high stand or the P6 radio remote control. To ensure safety, only one control mode can be active at a time.

The HT 18 TEC hookloader features a telescopic hook, ideal for recycling tasks that require flexible container handling. The telescopic arm ensures precise positioning, improving efficiency during loading and unloading. Providing a lifting capacity of up to 18 metric tons, it has been created for heavy and demanding tasks. To optimize the configuration for its hookloaders, PALFINGER now offers packages of options aligned to the main current challenges: performance, comfort and e-trucks.

Also showcased at bauma, the HP 20 A TEC hookloader is built for agricultural and construction applications requiring high robustness and lifting power. Its maximum capacity is 20 metric tons and it handles 4.25 to 6.0-meter containers. The POWER system handles even the heaviest loads with ease, while the SDS180 valve bank adds even more hydraulic capability. PALFINGER POWER hookloaders now benefit from the implementation of the new TEC configuration, opening access to the latest options developed to ease the daily job of operators, owners and service departments.
V Drive and TEC for Hookloaders: Full control and maximum performance

Both HT 18 TEC and HP 20 A TEC are equipped with V Drive – PALFINGER’s new cab control system. Fully customizable to the application, V Drive allows for intuitive control directly from the cab.

For the first time, PALFINGER also introduces memory position functionality for TEC hookloaders. Pre-set hook height stop and soft-landing technology ensure smooth, safe operations and protect the truck, hookloader, container, and ground. The hook height can easily be reset via a long press on the V Drive button, and the user-friendly interface simplifies handling.

The TEC series also offers a modular bolted design, making part replacement and upgrades simple – boosting the solution’s uptime. Also, central greasing improves maintenance efficiency, and the CANbus communication between unit and truck optimizes energy consumption by always ensuring ideal engine speed.

At bauma, the GENERATION 3 Urban Range is presented as a future innovation, with market availability planned for a later stage. The HT 18 TEC is already available in EMEA markets as of March 2025. The HP 20 A TEC is also already available in EMEA markets.

Op de Bauma presenteert PALFINGER een innovatieve gecombineerde oplossing: het eerste prototype uit de GENERATIE 3 Urban-serie recyclingkranen (TZU++ TEC) met de nieuwe HT 18 TEC haakarmsysteem. Samen vormen ze een krachtig alles-in-één voertuig, dat een sterke kraan voor bouw- en recyclingtoepassingen combineert met een geavanceerde haakarmsysteem. Om de robuustheid en geavanceerde mogelijkheden van zijn oplossingen voor veeleisende omgevingen verder te demonstreren, presenteert PALFINGER ook de nieuwe HP 20 A TEC haakarmkraan.

Bestuurderscomfort en volledige controle dankzij slimme oplossingen

Het kenmerk van de Urban-serie is het PALTRONIC 180 kraanbesturingssysteem in combinatie met intelligente TEC-software. Volledige sensorintegratie en de PALTRONIC 180 verhogen het hefvermogen tot 70 procent in steile giekposities. Het elektrische TEC-besturingssysteem biedt extra flexibiliteit en omvat veiligheidssystemen voor stabiliteit en overbelastingsbeveiliging. Met SMART CONTROL voor intuïtieve bediening van de kraankantel is het bedienen van de kraan eenvoudiger dan ooit – en wordt ook de trainingstijd van de machinist verkort en vereenvoudigd. Bij de ontwikkeling van de Urban-serie heeft PALFINGER EPSILON zich gericht op de behoeften van de machinist, wat heeft geresulteerd in aanzienlijke ergonomische verbeteringen. De hoge standaard met joystickbediening biedt een brede en veilige toegang zonder voetpedalen. Een uniek steunvlak zorgt ervoor dat machinisten hun voeten kunnen laten rusten tijdens langdurige werkzaamheden, wat zorgt voor meer comfort.

Afhankelijk van de taak kunnen machinisten kiezen tussen de hoge standaard of de P6-afstandsbediening. Om de veiligheid te garanderen, kan er slechts één bedieningsmodus tegelijk actief zijn.

De HT 18 TEC haakarm is voorzien van een telescopische haak, ideaal voor recyclingtaken die flexibele containerbehandeling vereisen. De telescopische arm zorgt voor een nauwkeurige positionering en verbetert de efficiëntie tijdens het laden en lossen. Met een hefvermogen tot 18 ton is deze haakarm ontworpen voor zware en veeleisende taken. Om de configuratie van de haakarmarmen te optimaliseren, biedt PALFINGER nu optiepakketten aan die zijn afgestemd op de belangrijkste huidige uitdagingen: prestaties, comfort en e-trucks.

Ook gepresenteerd op de Bauma, is de HP 20 A TEC haakarmarm gebouwd voor landbouw- en bouwtoepassingen die een hoge robuustheid en hefvermogen vereisen. De maximale capaciteit is 20 ton en hij kan containers van 4,25 tot 6,0 meter hanteren. Het POWER-systeem verwerkt zelfs de zwaarste lasten met gemak, terwijl de SDS180-ventielbank nog meer hydraulische mogelijkheden biedt. PALFINGER POWER haakarmarmen profiteren nu van de implementatie van de nieuwe TEC-configuratie, waardoor de nieuwste opties beschikbaar komen die zijn ontwikkeld om het dagelijkse werk van operators, eigenaren en serviceafdelingen te vergemakkelijken. Zowel de HT 18 TEC als de HP 20 A TEC zijn uitgerust met V Drive – PALFINGER's nieuwe cabinebedieningssysteem. V Drive is volledig aanpasbaar aan de toepassing en maakt intuïtieve bediening direct vanuit de cabine mogelijk.

PALFINGER introduceert voor het eerst ook geheugenpositiefunctionaliteit voor TEC haakarmsystemen. Vooraf ingestelde haakhoogtestop en soft-landing technologie zorgen voor een soepele, veilige bediening en beschermen de vrachtwagen, haakarmsysteem, container en de grond. De haakhoogte kan eenvoudig worden gereset door lang op de V Drive-knop te drukken en de gebruiksvriendelijke interface vereenvoudigt de bediening.

De TEC-serie biedt bovendien een modulair, geschroefd ontwerp, waardoor vervanging en upgrades van onderdelen eenvoudig zijn, wat de uptime van de oplossing verhoogt. Centrale smering verbetert bovendien de onderhoudsefficiëntie en de CANbus-communicatie tussen de machine en de vrachtwagen optimaliseert het energieverbruik door altijd het ideale motortoerental te garanderen.
